Sharing funny moments

While yes someone else may have reported the person, that doesnt change that you were the one that did.

I agree with the others that it is wrong, people may report me when I am farming, but I like to think I am better than them as I wont report another bot, of course there are alot out there that would just to get you booted and take your spot. But that doesnt make it right.

Using the defense well everybody else does it, doesnt make you correct. I agree that hope you get what you gave and someone reports you.

I don't know wheter this is a funny moment or not but I'm gonna share it anyways:
(WALL OF TEXT, hopefully a little easier on the eyes now)

The other day after a few hours of grinding I was getting ready for bed and I just wanted to create some auctions selling some eternal fire that I had stored. The day before I noticed that the price for an eternal fire was around 18ish gold a piece. I looked at the cheapest eternal fire and it was on around 10-11g and I was like, wth and decided not to sell any eternal fires that night. As I was looking through the pages I quickly noticed how the pages weren't stopping and the stacks didn't get any higher than 5 and all from the same seller, it turns out that this moron had 291 auctions of eternal fire, all consisting of 5 eternals on the auction house for 10-11g per eternal. This sums up to around 1450 eternals in total and as this completely crashed the market and stuff I decided to report him and go to bed. I woke up the next day and surprisingly there was no eternal fires at the auction, at all, and I quickly got lots of eternals on :) Didn't take more than an hour to sell all my 40 eternal fires for 25g each! Talking about profit :D So it ended up with me earning lots of gold, even though I coulda earned alot more just buying the eternals but I didn't know how blizzard would respond and I really didn't want to end up with tons of eternals and nowhere to dump it. What I find funny is that people both sold their eternals for under 11g (not talking about the crazy bot guy, but the people who actually undercut him) and how people are buying overpriced eternals because they're in a rush or just because they can't wait those few hours it takes to get the price down, God I love GB.

Haters gotta hate.

lol i wish i could read that but too many colours in that one paragraph it hurts my eyes...probally for the best!

Guys come on, first of all, yeah it's unlikely hes legit but we don't know wheter he was a bot or not. Crashing the market is clearly as far as I know against the rules, something about exploiting the economy. As already stated, if I didn't report it, someone else would or already had. And no matter what, it's absurd to post that amount of eternals, it's just plain dumb if you ask me. Same as farming 24/7, people will notice you, botters and non botters. If I hadn't somebody else woulda for sure. Overpopulated realms.... It's not like I report bots, theres a difference here. I might have been a little rushy on reporting but to me it seems like he asked for it

You thought he was a bot, you reported him. You should have let someone else do it. When you look into the douchebag, the douchebag looks back at you.

Hopefully u catch a ban tomorrow <3

Gunna have to agree with said comments about reporting other botters, low blow indeed, some are stupid and post a bunch of crap, but what comes around goes around right? eventually sooner if not later he would have been banned for economy exploitation from one of many sources, just sad it had to be a fellow botter.

Ok shall we move on and not flame as of the past few days there has been so much flaming, trolling even swearing at each other over what a game this thread was meant to be funny and has taken a diffrent spin altogther.
We all have pretty much expressed our opionions on what you belive is right or wrong, but this seems like tony will have to get involved in a thread which we should be a little mature about and not scream for tony's help every 5 secs as im sure he has other stuff to deal with.
This ain't a trolling but more like to stop all the hate that seems to have developed in the last couple of days.

Anyways the ones who can bot enjoy, and the ones who can't when we can we shall bot twice as hard lol :P

tl;dr version

You reported another botter and got him banned so that you could sell your items for a bit higher.

Fucking hypocrite. Get banned.

I think some of you guys need to get of your high horses and stop pretending.

Botters report other botters, this is fact, always has been fact so get over it.

This thread has now become a funny moments from all the people that are butthurt and acting like they are on their high horse. Your mob mentality concerns me, especially your own hypocrisy in this matter. I do and will report all botters I see (and have since vanilla even before I started botting). Running a bot, any bot, THIS is the risk you take. If you get reported, then you're reported. You know full well the risks and you know that you need to stay 1 step ahead of the good guys.

The worst part of all this bashing is the fact we have NO IDEA WHAT HAPPEN TO THE GUY! You guys are automatically assuming that report = ban, but KNOW there is a lot more that goes on. In fact I do the exact SAME thing the guy does except with infinite dust (I'll post a 50-60+ 5 stacks of infinite dust for cheap just to flood the market for giggles). For all we know someone could have BOUGHT them all since they were so cheap and actually crafted them and used them. It happens all the time.

My story sure did wake people up huh? If you all are so worried about getting reported that you think that your reports or the other botters reports really matter in the big picture you're just ignorant. Chances are that you're gonna get reported, by botters and non botters if you farm 24/7 and overflow the auction house. Did the guy posting 1450 eternals care about anyone else on the server? I don't think so and I'd bet my arm that he would do the exact same thing in my situation. If you see yourself as to "good" or raised above the bot community and not reporting others, fine, good for you, but you're infact only hurting yourself and keeping yourself from earning more gold. I'm not saying it's right or wrong to report other botters but stop acting like it's your closest family, it just seem pathetic. Think about yourself instead of some moron on the other side of the planet who's only gonna report you if he'd get the chance, unless of course, he have one of them high horses you're all talking about lol.

We don't report fellow botters here. We do, however, remove people that do. Farewell.

This thread needs to go away, much like people who report other botters. You guys disgust me and the rest of the people here. We're a community that work together to make the game better for ourselves or to make some money. Competition is one thing, but openly trying to get someone else's hard work destroyed is downright evil.

May those who wish harm upon others receive it amongst themselves.
