Shaman vs Druid

Hey all,

Just need some advice. Decided to roll Ally on my server (big underdogs but that's not news on many servers).

For botting a character quickly would you suggest Druid or Shaman?

I'm keen to do a character that can self heal and I've given up with my hunter because all the CCs don't have revive pet supported.

Any info/advice is great.

well as a person who has raided just about every healing class in the game, i would like to say i have had more fun on my shaman, then priest or pally, or anything else. for some reason i find druid healing to be a little boring, and hard to deal with sudden damage if your not anticipating it. really is all about how you want to heal, and how it fits you, i would suggest you look at whats going on in the beta, or the ptr, to help make a better decision about the future.
 
I like my disc priest b/c no other healer is like it. Resto shaman comes in second.
 
The only healer I've played was a holy pally it was basically beacon tank and spam holy light and throw in a few holy shocks every now and then, but in my opinion druid over shaman as you can play as melee dps, caster dps, tank or healer when you get bored.
 
in my opinion(after botting 10 druids and 2 shamans)
druids are faster

This guy is right on the money, most likely you will get bored of healing and you have all these other roles you can fill and have fun with.
 
thanks alot guys for all the info and advice.

Going to choose Druid. Just for the dual spec usability to tank/ heal or dps.

But has anybody got the Druid running. I've rolled back to 1.9.6.1 and still can't seem to get Kaboomkin or Faunus to run properly.

Rolling the default which is rubbish atm.

I've post in the CCs threads but got nothing back.

Kaboomkin: as soon as mana hit's 50% seems to want to melee the mobs=DEATH
Faunus: every so often keeps spamming POI pull target and doesn't, keeps flashing but never pulls the target.

Any help at all people. Want to get my druid running!

1. In answer to your original question - Druids all the way!
2. Don't even attempt to use HB 1.9.6.3. There will be a new build out shortly, my CCs (Faunus) will work perfect with it.
3. The error you're getting with POI sounds like an HB issue not a CC issue.

Wait another 12-24 hours and all should be good in the world.

I've been using the default since the two CCsare giving me issues on earlier levels that I need to test a bit more. They all work for me though.

Seems to be happening with the War CC from the one suite as well. Both Kaboomkin (other faults with that) and defualt are attacking and pulling correctly.
