So I made the big jump to Windows 8.1 with a clean install onto a brand new SSD.
Installed Windows 8.1 with drivers okay.
BW failed to run. So as per the BW install guide I tried to install Net Framework 4.5, but I got an error msg saying it was already a part of Windows 8.1
So I installed Visual Studio 2013, and after BW ran just fine.
BUT, visual studio installed a whole bunch of other crap on my pc.
Is there something else (smaller in size) than can be installed to get BW running?
