Setting up a major bot rig

Would be grateful if someone could provide me with some information about how much it would initially cost to start this up, and the benefits that come with it

No information to go on, need context.

Major bot rig means what to you? Because it might mean different to others.
For example major bot rig would be like 10 computers running 10 bots on each.
Give more information, how many bots do you want to run? What is your budget? Do you have expensive electricity costs or cheap?

I would like to be able to run 10 instances at once

My budget can be anything between 0-1000

My Electricity costs are not to bad :P
 
have fun spending money to find out you cant bot wow anymore :P bans are wayyyyyyyyy to frequint. Even bans on accounts that just ran dungeons 3-4 hours day 3 times a week.... Goodluck. Better off Botting Runescape if u want money.

But any normal gaming computer can bot 10 instances. Set maxfps to 15.

You learned about botting to late... money maken days where years ago nowadays its just the botters who are addicted and just cant quit :D haha
 
An i5 with semi ok gfx and 16gb can run 10 instances of wow.

an Haswell i5 with integred graphics can run 10 instances of wow, provided that you cap each Wow istance to max 20 fps.


if you're looking for money you're gonna have a bad time, the "good ol' times" are gone since a while.
 
you can go small time 6 accts and just farm Cata herbs and ores......prolly get a months worth if you are extra careful. but with ban rates i wouldnt try nothing crazy.
 
Is anyone actually doing what I am hoping to do, and that is able to give me any tips about how to start this
 
At the moment Im running two bots on a laptop. I'll be adding one more bot to the mix every month. Though my max will most likely be 4, as I dont think she can handle anymore.

Why dont you start small and add addition bots to get a feel for what your current PC can handle. Then buy a new rig accordingly.
