The hearthstone update has nothing to do with why wow is down. They didn't even release the Naxx patch for hearthstone today. Not to mention it's already back up and running.

Make that 17hours. Maintenance was scheduled for 1am PDT-1pm PDT...but they actually went down at 12am PDT and aren't supposed to be back up until 5pm PDT now.
