Hi,
I musst say here are some cons I see. The server for gaja is supposedly in Canada. Which means it causes some times the bot to crash when he doesn't get the answer in time. Or the bot is standing for 3 seconds around before moving again.
In city navigations are quite sloppy also outside it happens that your bot is standing /running against a wall for hours.
The worst part in it is since its server based you cannot change it easily so it gets stuck over and over again.
Any suggestions to this problems from anyone?
Is there a hook or fall back that if the player should move but the coords stay the same it tries some evasive maneuvers ?
Or cann I switch on the fly bettween server based gaja and local mesh?

Engrish much?

First, its called gaia, not gaja. Second there's no supposed about it, the server is in canada. As for latency, you should be getting paths faster then any human could respond to anything so that point is moot.

So sorry for the bad english on my first post. Maybe I am used to different Speed from MMominion. There the mesches are local and the new path is there within less then 400ms.
I will post you some logs later.
And about getting stuck this I Figured out. Since I was changing zones and did not put an extra zone check in the request for the coordinates were some times still for the old mapid and therefor the path was totally useless.

After reading your answer. This post was more whining that I expected to be. So I do not want to whine about the issues I rather wanted to know if there is some way I can overcome it.
partly I have a solution. If I use for traveling the the locations over and over again I wrote myself a little proxy which will give the path inforrmation if alredy present/cached.

I live in Japan, nowhere close to Canada, and I get paths returned in less than 200ms, faster than the local paths from Minion. If you're getting slow path times, you probably have a dial-up connection.

I will check agian with wireshark since I have nice 50 Mbit connection and all is usually super fast. Thanks for the feedback.
