Seriously guy.

Bear with me. Every person who work and manage IT teams and services should know this basic principle that is based on a product life-cycle, and in the best practice of service delivery.

Every project have 2 out of 3 main aspects for a manager to decide.

1. Price
2. Speed
3. Quality

With this is part of the project execution and planing. And for every project you can always choose 2 of the 3 aspects, it's practically impossible to have all 3 aspects with a project unless you are a jedi and know the mind trick...

So:

• If you choose price and quality, you wont have speed, but it's cheaper and with good quality.
• If you choose price and speed, you will have a low quality product, but it will be faster to deploy it.
• If you choose speed and quality, it will affect the price and will cost a lot.

You can think yourself every combination possible, but i believe Bossland choose to have Price and Quality, so he cant hire a bigger team to have the product ready in a few hours or even in a few weeks after a big change.

Bossland can came here and state otherwise if i'm wrong.

So people, seriously.

Stop jerking around asking for dates, trying to rush thing or you will force the product to have lower quality and believe-me by your fault you will come back to flame more the product as it will have lots of bugs.

So instead of waiting a week more or a month more to have a finished product, you will end with a half done product, with a lot of bugs and devs will spend double the time trying to fix it, not to mention adapting it to new wow patches.


So try to stay calm, and start to practice the art of IT WILL BE DONE WHEN IT'S DONE.
With that in mind you will know that you will have the best quality product the team can deploy and with less bugs to work on they will have time to develop new plugins, new cc, new features to the bot.

So what's the point here?
Stay calm, stop posting lots of threads asking for it, not rushing things out.

If you disagree with me in any point, please, tell me why, but keep it in a civilized way.

Thanks for reading this, hope this helps people see the dev's side of this great product that we all cant wait to get our hands on, but i prefer to have it when it's done, or if the case come, even wiling to help bug test it, as i did before. But all to have a quality product which we all paid very little for what it's really worth.

This. I totally agree. I'd rather have an inexpensive, quality bot, and wait a bit longer for it, than to have one rushed out, with an obvious flaw that causes a banwave. the buddy team is doing their best. Patience is key here.

Not everyone has that going for them Leon. personally, im dead broke, unemployed, and going month to month as i work through college. i paid 110$ for the bot last february when exchange rates were high and i had some extra money but if i had to pay again now i would certainly take a discount for a later release.

im sorry to say this but how much does it cost him to make the bot, how will speed and quality effect the price when it comes to this? it doesnt.
I completely understand the 3 rules and how they work don't get me wrong but when the bot doesnt cost anything at all other than time to make then it shouldn't cost the price it does and at which the speed and quality it is. If the bot maybe costs about 40$ and we would have a release 1-2days after then i would be more than happy to pay that much but it doesnt if the bot was cheaper then yeah I would expect it to come out around the time that it did, the fact is they had more than enough time to test their bot on the test servers and even private servers which had 4.0, It amazed me when I found out they pretty much where starting for the first day the patch came out. I could have made a private server told them the address and said here work on your bot make it stable so when 4.0 actually hits we will have a good working bot but nope. this alone amazed me
Now with glider when they were down for 2+weeks they would say "hey looks guys yeah we know that took a very long time to get up and running; longer than it should have, so here everyone gets an extra month an all lifetime users get 5$ back" will hb do this probly not. And don't say thats not possible because it is glider has done it before
my point is that the price we are paying for a bot that doesnt have a great quality(I wont lie its great when its stable) and isnt fast when it comes to stable versions, well it seems like we should be paying less then.


Don't get me wrong the bot works amazingly but the downtime was way to long and the quality wasn't that good for the time they had to do it in
I don't expect anything from CC's as we dont pay for them and the devs of the CC's aren't paid if it takes another 2weeks for CC's to work well then I am ok with that
But my main point is that the dev team had beta invites they could have used, tests realms to test it out on and private servers to all use but they didnt and now I understand that devs have their own life but we do pay for this
and the excuse "but I have a life and things to do" would never work when dealing with an employer prove that wrong

and I am very much ok with the idea it will be done when its done I don't care anymore

I disagree with the whole thing on Bossland.... not the idea of the combinations of speed, price and quality, but with what Bossland chose. Really, you call v1.962-3-4 quality? After two weeks working on HB they come out with a TEST version? Did I mention the 1 week HB project delay after the 1 week announced? So yeah, Price is really great... what is it? $80 a year? But on the other hand we're getting left overs from their (Bossland and his team) spare time. So actually, I would say that we get Price in exchange for Speed and Medium Quality.

I really dont understand the point of customers denfending a business from other paying customers with the right to critisize and expect something more than what they are getting. Do you get something out of this? We all like Buddy products and critisizing and/or demanding things is not such a big deal. We know its stressful to come to the forum and see so many complaints but its for Bossland and his team to answer, not another paying customer. It just seems like a Suck-Up to me.

<<SDE Consultant. for a 100 dollar product we are getting the most amazing support i have ever seen in my life and keep in mind some people are not getting life time so its even CHEAPER for them.

Let me give you a quick example of the REAL world.

My company charges $250 an HOUR for my services WITH A DISCOUNT assuming you will buy 40 hours of work. Once I am done if there a bugs or issues TOUGH luck you signed off on 40 hours. If you want support pay us 30k-100k a year depending on licenses. We will put you in a queue where you will get a call back within an hour and a resolution of 30-90 days.

Ill say it again AMAZING service for the price. I am in Lt.Leons boat though i wouldnt mind paying more for faster/more reliable. But its just not the market they are shooting for. NOR do they need to IMO.

Its not defending its setting REALISTIC expectations.

The test version out is buggy. Its a test version. They havent finished it. it would be more productive to post bug reports and help the comunity than waste time QQing about something you have ZERO control over unless your a source code dev PERIOD.

Not happy about your moneys worth THATS where customers come in to defend it find a better product/price/speed combo and PM Bossland that u feel some how unjustly billed. It says an insane amount about a product when this many people are defending it as customers.

While to some, price is the object, and to others, speed is the object, neither is ultimately correct.
I believe quality will come in time, so I'm just gonna lump that into speed.
Speed is of higher importance to me, because I want as many 80s as possible to farm with come cata. And believe me, if u thought this downtime was bad, think of cata... all that remeshing... its gonna take a while.
Tl;dr I'd like to bot as many chars to max b4 cata.

Alright guys, it's seriously getting out of hand now.

Feedback is welcome, however attacking staff, and eachother won't get you anywhere.

We work as fast as we can to update, however we are a very small team of developers, with a giant project in front of us. If you don't like the product, that's perfectly fine, and you're more than welcome to voice your opinion. We won't stop you.

However, the constant bickering, and attacking eachother is going to stop right now. The next time I see someone flaming, name calling, or otherwise being disrespectful to someone else, I'll delete the posts, and start handing out infractions.

Side-note: HB is 99% updated for the new patch (US patch, hasn't hit EU yet I don't think). So we may release another build tomorrow.

We've had [Test] builds, because we can't be 100% certain that we haven't missed something in the giant translation from 3.3.5, to 4.0.1. A LOT of stuff changed, and we'd rather quell the uprising by letting you know right away, that it's not considered stable. (Even though it's far more stable than our previous releases over the last month or two)

We may release the next as another test build, and hopefully that will be the last of the major bugs so we can mark it as stable.

Off topic: a majority of the bugs people are seeing, are actually bugs in WoW. Unfortunately, not much we can do about it. Hopefully the 4.0.1a patch resolves most of them. (I know one of which is the character being stuck in combat for up to 10s after you should have left combat. Which we can't really do anything about)

TL;DR: stop bickering and be nice.
