Serious talk about current ban situation

Hi guys.

So I just came home from work to find out niantic has finally permabanned my last two 30+ accounts.

That means all my bot accounts are now banned, they have hit 6 accounts over the past couple of days, the only thing left is my level 17 legit account.

Three of those accounts have never used any tool but Pokefarmer and even with cautious botting niantic has by now caught them all.

So my personal conclusion is, there is currently no way to bot udneteced.

Is there anyone here who is botting with Pokefarmer and not affected by the most recent banwaves? If so can you please share your exact settings? I'd really apprechiate helpful insight on how to bot 'under the radar'.

Also, is IP banning a thing? Is it possible niantic has flagged certain IPs and is now banning anything related to those IPs?
 
I've read that companies will not IP ban. It punishes those that might not be cheating. For instance: public IPs, released and reacquired IPs, etc. Same with devices. It's generally a rule of thumb not to IP ban with titles as big as this.

On topic, I've lost all my botting accounts. I JUST lost my 31. I botted an account with safe settings to 23 without a ban and tried my main on a different PC with a different IP. Banned in about 25 minutes. This account was 31 and the only thing I can think of that flagged was mass transferring or mass evolving. I was walking/stopping randomly/random throws.

I honestly cannot think of a ban trigger as I was playing legit on that account for about a week and finally got the balls to bot again. Meh.
 
My main got banned. I got my new account to lvl 24 and botted as safely as possible and still got banned. This bot is getting detected no matter what settings you use...
 
My last accounts that were banned today had not botted in over a week.

They were 301 and 35 and I thought going any higher might be extra suspicious so I only logged in on my phone and didn't touch a bot, yet banned today, weeks later. I think this definitly proves they are now killing all the accounts that send wrong unknown6 values before the update as one of the accounts hasn't botted since that doomsday.

Other chars got banned yesterday and I felt pretty safe about those last ones... it really sucks right now.

Still, anyone here who has not been banned?
 
No luck my friend the bot has some flaws that need rework before you can ask that question again :rolleyes:
 
It works, but it might just not be possible to bot undetected. I had fun with my 3 licenses but i think I'm done until it's undetected. It's just frustrating now!

With that said, I've always wanted to play path of exile and I've got a d3 account that is just sitting around. I might bot on these just for fun. Botting is... amusing.
 
got my 40 37 and 33 banned today haha i think its related to the leveling up achivments and medals
 
i have 4 acc.. 38..35..35..27.. i use bot each 2 days.. 4 hours in the morning and 4 hour in the afternon.. i don't have ban yet.. but my new acc lvl 9 has a 'perm ban' in your first day using bot.. now has 6 days that i don't use bot in my acc and they are ok.
 
I only botted for 2 days 5 hours max on each day before the ban wave and I've literally just been banned.
 
My account was legit 28.5.. I botted for 2 days to level 30 and stopped. I was banned almost straight away when i hit 30. My new bot is 21 and is still going strong
 
I started playing normally then moved to MyGoBot. When that went TITSUP shortly after fixing the bot after the update I moved to Pokefarmer.

I have created 12 accounts and botted on all but one.

Of all the accounts created and used on MyGoBot all are now banned except one. This has happened gradually since 12th August to tonight.

My level 30 main and all accounts over 25 are banned. I use LeapDroid Android emulator running Pokemon GO to login accounts in the same area I am botting in so the location doesnt look dodgy. This helps when leveling.

I wasn't clever enough as I didn't consider my IP giving away my location. I've tried using HideMyAss but when running it in th elocation I am botting I am unable to use LeapDroid as PokemonGO can't login to servers. Pokefarmer seems to run on and off with the VPN active which is a pain trying to keep everything looking legitimate.

I think there are many factors working to ban botters, IP, GPS location, speed of players movements, time played, number of pokemon and the speed they were caught in.

I have created a number of accounts for testing the best methods. Three accounts all created in the last 24 hours and running the bot (latest version) non stop were all banned tonight.

I've made another 3 accounts which I am being super careful with. I am waiting 24 hours before logging in where I bot. I am using the emulator to get to level 15 then using the bot and stopping between levels to finish the level using Leapdroid.

I'll post results of the next botting tests but at the moment it looks like no matter how careful you try to be there's always one thing you forget which gets you caught.
 
I can still log into my PTC but getting the message 'failed to get the game data from server' does that mean i'm still banned>?

I just created a new account this time using PMB with super careful conservative settings... using a script to randomly stop and start the bot with long breaks. However, from reddit and discord servers it seems all bots are currently being detected. So far nobody was able to post a 'safe' config for any known bot, as you've said, all bot accounts seem to get banned one by one, some last longer, some are banned within minutes, but niantic seems to have a pretty intelligent system in place to detect them all.

For me it looks like the guys claiming not to be banned are either attention whores or simply lucky and will get banned within days/hours. All botter is know i person are reporting bans, even for carefully botted chars, no matter what bot they've been using.

I really hope our smart programmers can come up with a way to trick niantic, would be a shame if our botting adventures would end after just a couple of weeks.
 
I've got 3 accounts perm banned.

1. Level 33 - Ban Wave
2. Level 27, running 50km/h, was getting soft bans
3. Level 25, accidentally logged in my phone while botting, 8h later perm ban

I'm running 2 accounts now, level 25 (4 days) and level 23 (3 days).
Using a VPN and refreshing IP each time I change the account, botting 12h a day each account and login on the phone at least once a day
20km/h, random stops, so far no soft ban
