Serious RAF Issue

I was out for 1h or so today, and upon arriving home I found my RAF bot following some random player, and not the leader bot it had been assigned and partied to (The leader was a few zones away, I guess they got split up when they were traveling).

This is a serious flaw in your raf system. To have my bot following a live player for an unknown amount of time is just asking for a report. The player in question didn't ask me why I was following him so I assume it was only for a brief time, but still, if this went on for hours.... well you know what typically would happen.

Unfortunately I can't dig up the log as I briefly shut everything down after without thinking of saving a log.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, and perhaps is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again (short of not using raf).

Thanks.

I know another one: follower dies and leader continues to bot. Follower thinks he is resurrected.
EDIT: Another one: The leader always tries to loot.

This has happened to me too :(

Ahh I see the logs are saved, I'm going to have to try and figure out where in the log it happened, because I'm not sure the exact time when I had arrived home :(

I'll post some info when I think I have it.

As attachment plz
Tony

I should add that when I first observed the bot following this random player, he was sort or running then stopping, probably wondering why I was following him, then before I could shut HB down the bot decided to dismount and attack something a few yards off, at which time the player rode off.

Bah, sry again, Fixing the attachment now (I had a link to some crappy file hosting site previously).

Happened to me aswel at level 7, hasn't happened since, fortunately for me the guy I was following was more than slightly retarded, but apparently I had been following him for 30minutes+ lol

Yikes, so this isn't just an isolated case then. I guess that is somewhat reassuring, as well its probably helpful to the devs to know that.

that is a partial log.

If it happens again please post the whole thing. Meanwhile I will review the follower code to look for any potential cause.

It happened to me too and i posted the first thread but no one cared about my RaF Problem? Why does it care so many people know? o0

Hmm, well that file is the entire log for the day, I never removed anything, taken directly out of the folder like that. Hell the time stamps show it covers many hours, so I don't understand what it's missing, unless you refer to a log of the other bot, in which I have no idea as I run both bots out of the same folder and this is the only log dated for that day.

Once again I arrived home to find someone whispering me asking why I had been following them. These were old whispers (no timestamps, no mod ect) and when I first saw my char he was far away from the group leader again, off on his own.

Here is a log, same deal as before, odds are the end of the log has priest and/or mage stuff in there, as I've swapped raf teams since returning home.

For me RaF is broken. When follower dies, the leader just continues botting. Leader is now LVL 12 and follower 10 (!).

Best thing is when follower is being attacked then leader just stands there watching birds or just continues walking. Nice shit :/

Also leader is being attacked and just does nothing sometimes, for me HB is just full of bugs right now. Just look over the forums.

I havn't experienced any problems like that, well short of the raf account ignoring adds at times and putting priority on getting to the main bots target, even if its out of range and requires walking to (while being beaten on by the ignored add). The two bots experience are in sync pretty well, short of the now 2 times they've been split up due to following the wrong player.

I noticed something very strange happen yesterday. Basically my bots were going along fine, then I got a popup from Windows Live Messenger, a person wanting to add me, that took focus. When that happened, my follower bot seemed to get confused for a bit and it stopped dead in its tracks while the leader bot kept moving.

Now I'm not sure if this happened in the other cases where my raf bot followed random players, but I figured it was a pretty strange thing to happen either way.
