Seperate botting account question

I have two main accounts that have many max level toons. I am thinking about opening a third account and use it strictly for farming. I plan on using HB to quest and when I hit max level I will begin the farming adventure. My question is how many members have a seperate account that they use for botting on the same computer they play their main account on and do you think this would be the best way to preserve my main account with only one computer and one internet connection in my household.

Thx! Throttle

You should be fine. Generally the account that receives the ban is the only one. It is recommended that you start the account under a different email address and Real I-D. This way you are keeping it separate from your main accounts. Should also use pre-paid time cardstherefore if blizz wants to investigate they wont tie all those accounts together and ban them. Chances are VERY slim that they do an ip ban resulting in a loss of all three accounts. I run 6 accounts right now on 1 ip and have been doing so for a long time. Good luck!

Thanks ytOk for taking the time to provide me with feedback.....a botting I will go...a botting...you get the picture.

I don't know if it makes a difference either way. I can say that I have 1 account I dont bot, and abot 11 others I do. And I run them all from the same pc. Over the years of botting I have lost several accounts due to bans, but have never gotten any ban on the account which is never botted.
