Semi facehunting routine

Hi.

I have attempted to do a routine, for the deck that everyone hates, that actually goes face for the majority of the time, by playing around with some settings.
I've based the routine upon this deck: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/260424-1-legend-na-s15-face-hunter-guides

As mentioned for the majority of the time it goes face, it still trades in, to setup for traps, which I find kinda neet, but I know the brainless ways of the facehunter, isn't this advanced, I simply haven't figured out to make it go all face, but I think the setting up, and trading in more dangerous threats, is actually a good feature for the deck.

I haven't tested it in ranked yet, as I'm not about to screw my rank up now, but in casual I went on a 8 streak before losing one.

Basically I just changed the mulligans to:
Not go higher than 2 mana cards,
Mulligan away ironbeak owl, abusive sergeant and explosive trap.
Then I allowed the routine to go face at any HP, both with weapons and minions.

Hope someone find the usage for it. Or making it go full face, would also be a nice feature for some.

Obviously just place the folder "Face" alongside the "DefaultRoutine"-folder, and change the routine in HB

As a last note, the whole folder is necessary as I changed some of the Silverfish AI classes aswell.

Does it actually work if you rename the folder you could choose the routines from in GUI?

You would need to specify the name of the routine in the class file, the folder name doesen't matter. But yes, it absolutely works.

thanks for the quick reply!, how abouts would i name the routine in the class file? You mean on line 130 and the description inside xxxx.cs (defaultroutine).?

"Copy the DefaultRoutine folder, rename the folder, download the file OP provided, rename the DefaultRoutine.cs and DefaultRoutineSettings.cs to [Name].cs and [Name]Settings.cs.
Then in the [Name].cs file, change the name of the routine in the string on line 224, and the description on line 230.

After that, you don't need to mess with any files when you go between routines."

Was it this? because the ultimateLogs inside silverfish folder is always empty, instead it always goes back to "defaultroutine > silverfish > ultimate log", even tho I'm using another routine..

Yeah, something like that, not sure about the exact line, but there is some description variables in the defaultRoutine. Example in the one i attached above, I've renamed it to facehunter or something like that.

For the logs, I'm guessing you need to change the variable containing the path to your routine folder.

Were you able to do that change in regards to the variable? I checked the Face.Zip and it actually had logs inside the ultimatelog folder?

Oh probably forgot to remove the rest of them, but no, I've only changed the name, and then the logs for the routine was automatically stored in the correct folder.

did you still keep the defaultroutine folder?

Just placed it alongside defaultRoutine folder, and my other routines. Try reinstalling if this does not work.

yeh so far all the logs are made under > defaultroutine > silverfish > ultimate log.

and im using face file. not sure why it does that though....

i have like 5 different folders for each different routine all placed inside "routines".

not sure why it does this though... just wondering if the routines are still working.

If you've only copied the main routine file, it will not work as I made changes to the Silverfish AI too. So you need to copy the entire folder into the routines folder

weird, i downloaded the folder, placed it inside "routines" folder. Inside routines folder has "defaultroutine" and alongside other routines such as "Face", "Mage Cancer" and a few other "custom" routines.

But all Silverfish AI logs go into "C:\Users\ALAN\Desktop\HOH\Routines\DefaultRoutine\Silverfish\UltimateLogs"

Weird?

Really wierd. I'm not that much into it unfortunately, to know exactly whats wrong.

Great work friend, i've been looking for this for a while now - even made a post on the main forums here...

So, I am testing it (Current Rank 4) -- but im testing it in Casual Mode,

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/259770-legend-s15-face-hunter

^ THIS is the decklist i've been running to get to rank 4 currently all manually, so I will test your routine in casual mode and watch it for a bit and see how it runs!

EDIT: I'm seeing the bot say "Unidentified Card" alot, so will this routine not work unless you use the decklist YOUVE Provided? - because I find that MY decklist is seriously the BEST Face decklist hands down in the game.

Edit#2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcH5ogXsY7E Video Tutorial and breakdown on MY decklist :)

I am pretty confident in using this for ranked IF the bot successfully uses it accurately, so im gonna test it for a while in casual and watch it physically and see how it goes!

- I use a pretty custom FACE Deck, not very standard, so if I dont use the decklist you've provided, will it not work?

It's great to hear. I'm pretty sure it would work with another deck, aslong as this deck was made to go face. I havent added any custom logic for the individual cards yet, but was planning to do it, when I get the time, so I think a more custom facehunter deck would do great too.

Yeah ive been watching it, currently 4/1 right now, deck seems to be running smoothly. :D Even might be able to take it into ranked, it's running that well! :)

That's really awesome, I was thinking of taking it to ranked too, in the new season to do some further testing and adjustments. I really like the deck you linked, so probably making custom logic for that aswell. Thanks a lot :-) !

the only issue I just saw, was on turn 2 when I had 2 mana, and in hand I had tracking and a 1 drop - it used the tracking first and the choises were: (Kill Command, Kill Command, and Glaivzooka) - it took the Glaivzooka....

Normally, I would mulligan the Tracking and use tracking later in game to find my finisher (Arcane Golem, Hounds, LeeRoy, Etc)

So, its questionable if this was the right play or not ~ (I still won the game) ---

But, watching it more to see if im gonna decide on wither or not to run it in ranked ~

Edit: My Current FIRST IMPRESSION, is its EXCELLENT for Grinding Gold Hunter with Casual Games. -- it has the POTENTIAL for running great in ranked, and possibly reaching Legend, with MY Decklist :) - Also, i'm going to use this now for grinding 100 gold per day :)

Yeah, that unfortunately is caused the default mulligan rule, because i simply did not use tracking in my deck list. You can copy the tracking mulligan rule from defaultRoutine to faceroutine to fix this issue :-)
