I was watching the bot identify the items and he identified a Vile Ward with 270 int and 80 vit. When he opened the chest he did not put the item. When he sold it was sold along with the items.

I had to pause the bot and repurchase of the Vendor.

There you go, it's probably set up wrong. You need to edit the loot rules yourself.
