I currently have 2 bots and I'm making decent gold and I want to sell it. I've tried once through paypal and I got screwed over pretty bad, since it was an"intangible good." I really could use help and advice, thank you in advance.

Was it a private buyer? If not then try a different company, I have sold to Pusada and Gold4key and never had a problem.

privates norm fine.. + alot higher profits..

Just unlucky i guess

You will always get cunts :D

i've sold only through paypal; never got scammed, i only sell private to people that i know irl. ^^

this may sound dumb but, do you have to pay taxes for money earned virtually? cause i always wondered this because i'm starting to actually get decent lunch money and i don't like sharing my pie

i believe if your making over a certain amount your are supposed to licenses for a buisness and pay taxes.

laws are different in different countries and states/territories ...
if you're making some decent money and want to be legit, consult
with a tax attorney.

lol

profession: Semi Legal Kinda Not Really Against the ToS Gold Seller

Do you guys actually know how to be safe when selling to people on your server your not too fond of?

Could always request the buyer to send the payment through paypal as a gift payment which can't be disputed unless they decide to say their paypal was hacked the payment was unauthorized.

If you're doing private ask for the money first. Then give em the gold.

The only way to be 100% sure with paypal is to do the deal like it's a material good.

The buyer wants 50k gold? Fine, they get a printed screenshot. A photo of the 50k gold :) And the gold of course. But you make it seem like you charge them for the photo. You go out and send the package with the photo to them (adding the postage to the price). You keep record of everything you do, tracking numbers etc.

So if they want to charge-back later they have to prove you didn't send them anything. Which is hard, cause you have photos of everything including the package tracking # with their address on it. Try to scam NOW, bitches.

That's correct.

There are 2 alternative methods. Mentioned. Which are less affective but do work 90% of the time.
1st is they pay first as gift. - You Do your part of the deal. Deliver the gold.
2nd They pay first, refund then cancel the refund that prevents them from canceling it again. -- Ofcourse you old your end of the deal.

I use both of those 2 methods, altho normaly sell 5-10k with first time buyers (new people)

I'll try the photo one, thanks a bunch.

And how does the refund thing work?
You you give them a refund then you cancel it, they can't refund?

And the thing is that apparantly they didn't ask for the refund, paypal put the money on hold and the buyer's never confirmed.
