I think you guys should put a ssl on your buddy auth server instead of sending everything over plain text. I am posting this here cause I wasn't sure where else.
Note you don't have to even purchase a ssl from a valid root certificate authority- creating your own self signed cert would be good enough and free. If you need help with this I would be willing, just email me. Thanks.
