This started yesterday, have not seen this in the few years that I have used honorbuddy. Best way to describe this is the screen flickers almost like intermittent power fluctuations or something is running in the background causing the old hourglass mouse pointer effect and makes the screen flicker on and off very fast in split seconds. The monitor is not shutting on and off just the game. The games runs perfect when wow64 is used, (windowed or fullscreen) this only happens when the game is loaded with honorbuddy in wow32. A log is attached. Almost seems as if anytime my wow is in 32 bit mode as of last night this happens, and only when 32 is windowed not fullscreen..

Hi, Budder, and thanks for the log.

I haven't seen that effect in years, either. I believe you will find that your "Vertical Sync" is disabled in your WoWclient. Enable it, and all should be good again. Its probably a graphics device-driver problem.

If no joy, then try switching to DX9, and restart the WoWclient.

cheers,

Thank you China,
I did indeed try that after you pointed it out, and yes my Vsynce was actually disabled. I enabled this and set to DX9 then restarted the client, but to my dismay that did not help. Another odd bit of info that may help I noticed that it happens even more every time I click on the screen when wow 32 windowed is open. I click on the screen, and wow almost pauses for a split second, only in 32bit wow windowed though never in full screen, and never in 64bit whether windowed or full screen.

Ok, good news from what I can tell is this problem i not HB related. I still have the problem though, it is something to do with the game being windowed at startup. No matter in 64 or 32, if I start the game in windowed mode it reacts the way I stated above. If I start the game in full screen, log in, then switch to windowed mode while in game it works again. Cannot use the installer this way, so it makes it a pain, but it is a workaround until I figure out what is causing that.
