I am still using 397 and I am ok at the moment. I like you hope there are more updates with what would be 401 but life is what it is. No use having a coronary over something you can't change. Life works on 2 very simple principles, either something is worth it, it is consumed and through consumption comes revenue and through revenue comes improvement or it becomes stagnant of which it becomes less consumed and therefore inadequate.

If you have not gone to the new buddywing.com website I highly recommend you do so. It puts the old website in a less flattering light to say the least. If one was to take anything away from just the mere sight of the new website it would be that times they are changing for the better. If there were less money with less people then we would all be renewing through some black market portal that no bank would dare let you subscribe.
So back to my point, with above improvement it would seem the bot is being consumed, therefore they upgraded the website first for more revenue and then comes the bot itself next. Why? Well the bot in its current state actually works quite well for beginner users. Its grinds away quite well on well meshed planets.
For us more discerning users we know that this bot is well capable of producing well above its current level. That gives us pain and through pain we set out beg, kick, grovel, plead and scream until we believe all of the higher functions the bot is capable comes to fruition.
Friends I have no crystal ball, I have no inside track on what is to become but if you take at face value where we are it has no recourse but to go forward or become less consumed and die.
Therefore upon the successful patch of the next bot, I will be purchasing 3 more license. My wife, daughter and I are doing FP's twice a week and I wish them to have their license.
In closing for those that can't donate more funds or write code to better the bot all I ask is this. Take the time to do 3 things which will help your buddy experience immensely.
1. Learn to write profiles and learn to read logs. Through these two alone you will increase your bot happiness 100X
2. If you do see a problem, place it in the correct buddywing folder and try to give as much detail as possible about what you think is wrong and for god's sake attach a log.
3. When you do post, take the time to say at least 3 nice or constructive things before opening with double barrels on the pour unfortunate soul who is going to have to fix the issue. Especially if you are posting about PureSTWOR or Waltz, they literally don't have to do what they do and if you think the bot is rough now, run it with the default CR.
