Scheduled Maintenance - Tues, Dec. 10th - Patch 2.5a

On December 10th, all game servers will be unavailable as we perform scheduled maintenance. Patch 2.5a will be implemented during this downtime. Details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday December 10th, 2013
Duration: 2 hours
Time: 3AM PST (11AM GMT) - 5AM PST (1PM GMT)

New Users: After the patch drops, Buddy Wing will not function until updated. Please be patient. Users can can check Buddy Updates for a version number higher than 1064.456 to determine if the update is ready.

When available, patch notes will be found here: Update 2.5a

SWToR was updated to version 2.5a during down time, and thus BW needs an update as well to avoid the following error:

Unhandled exception during init: System.Exception: This version of Buddy Wing does not support this build of SWTOR! [Current: 984667, Supported: 984331]

Aevitas should have a update for us in short order.

if you didn't logout SWTOR and update it yet the .456 is still woking i have it up and running right now

If they don't do a major update you can just log back in from the server select screen and the game doesn't seem to care. I think most of the things in this update if not all were server side so the client besides the patch number might be the same as it was yesterday.

I do wish they had fixed the issues a lot of AMD graphics users are having. I was able to kind of bypass the issue but I still have to launch the game 3 or 4 times before I don't get a graphic card error and can play.

is that the error when amd drivers crash and the screen freezes? i had alot of thoose after 2.5 lately. Every time i reentered windows. i thought it was just me

Yep, that's the one. It was even reported on the PTS but they released the patch anyway. If you go look at the customer service section of the swtor forums people have been posting about it for a week now. Not just a few either. Some people with AMD cards are just getting a blue screen of death. If I got that for a week straight because of a problem that was reported on the test server I'd be super pissed. I'm already not happy it takes 5 minutes to get the game to launch correctly without errors as it is.

I was getting a blue screen of death as well just after the patch but I'm one of the few people that was able to down grade to an older driver and get it to work. And when I say work I mean not completely crash to a restart. I still have problems.
