Scheduled Maintenance - Tue., April 16th, Patch 2.0.0b

Game patch 2.0.0b will drop tomorrow, April 16th. From the official forums:

On April 16th, all game servers will be unavailable as we perform scheduled maintenance. Patch 2.0.0b will be implemented during this downtime. Details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday April 16th
Duration: 2 hours
Time: 5AM PDT (12PM GMT) - 7AM PDT (2PM GMT)

New Users: After the patch drops, Buddy Wing will not function until it is updated. You can check this site for a revision number higher than 986.379 to determine whether the update is ready.

Having some problems updating the DOM, so you may run into issues with "field XXX does not exist!" every now and then, but other than that it's done. I've also addressed a bug which caused the bot to just stand still if the path generated was over 100 yards. It'll no longer spam the log with "That's too far!" and stuff.

On another note, the expansion continent should be ready and should work with the bot, but it does seem to have slowed the server down severely, I'll be looking into this over the coming few days. You can expect the update to hit the server in a few minutes.

in v380 my bot keeps loop zig-zagging like 40 yards in 2 directions of the medbot and the red error message appears in the game that i am out of range, he was obviously try to sell some junk at medbot but he just drove by and return and repeat the loop.

Would you mind dumping the location of the medical droid and paste it here so we know which one you're referring to. All of my current ones are working.

It seems to be moving MUCH faster between looting and moving toward the next kill. Nicely done.

The only other consistent delay I see now occurs after the fight completes and before looting; the bot normally just stands there for a few seconds or longer (even when there is nothing to loot). After this, though, it moves quickly again (barring any other errors).

Anyway, thanks for the quick work!

So far I have to agree with Developer. It is running pretty smooth... only time will tell for sure though because a lot of people might not be using the server right now, but so far working great. Thank you for the bug fix.

Yeah that's what I was getting at with the DOM being weird. Does restarting BuddyWing not fix it?

have to eaither start/stop BW or restart BW or restart & delete CompiledAssemblies usually 10-20x times per day :/ pretty annoying.

I find myself restarting 10+ times per day as well. Would love for some of these (DOM?) issues to go away.

Really? I have to restart maybe once every 4-5 hours. More than that if I'm actively using my computer while the bot is running, however, but no where near 10+times a day.

Yeah, it goes in stretches. This morning was pretty bad, but later in the day they ran for hours. Hit and miss, but definitely a problem. EDIT Case in point, it's happened to two of my bots twice in the last 20 minutes. More fun for me! :cool:

Yeah in the same boat as you Dev.. its off and on. Some days are good and having to do very little buddywing/swtor restarts and then there are days where its a constant battle with the thing.
