From the official forums:

On August 8th, all game servers, SWTOR.com, and the launcher will be unavailable as we perform scheduled maintenance. Patch 2.3.0a will be implemented during this downtime. Details are as follows:

Date: Thursday August 8th, 2013
Duration: 2 hours
Time: 3AM PDT (10AM UTC) to 5AM PDT (12PM UTC)

New Users: After the patch, Buddy Wing will not work until it is updated. Users can check Buddy Updates after the patch drops for a version number higher than 1015.408 to determine if the update is ready.

I already talked to fearless leader and he is aware of update.
 
Restarting all the computers in their data centers, while checking for faulty hardware, might take up much of that time. I've been told by a reliable source that only discarded droid parts have been used for repairs since the move the free-to-play. Of course, the source said her name was "Ella Vader", so that might not all be right...

BW hasn't been patched for the new SWTOR patch yet, just be patient. It's usually up within 24 hours of a patch.
