So, you have probably seen the sellers of "Sands of time" on your servers by now.
They are selling Sands of time for 1k gold mostly, which is vendor-purchased item for 3k gold. It is not possible to farm it as far as i know.
They are loosing 2k gold for each sell, so why are they doing it?
I have seen 3 explainations so far:
1: goldtransfering or converting gold to mats for stockpiling in GB for safekeeping.
Seems highly unlikely as they loose so much on each sell.
2: dupe glitch for Sands of time.
Seems also highly unlikely with Blizz on the watch for everything and anything goldrelated.
3: elaborate scam-method where they sell Sands of time cheap, gets the attention of some unsuspecting player and wants to show him how it is done, all they need is his account for a few hours...
As it is now, your guess is as good as mine, but i know one thing.
There is gold to made here, but if im gonna get any i need to know wtf is up with this.
So, anyone knows more then?
