Salvage non-ancients legendary

I have checked below options ,but DB always keep non-ancients. anyone can help me? Thanks!
Always keep ancient items.
Always sell/salvage non-ancients

I rather have it salvage the non ancients instead of selling. I haven't tried this yet, but will it always salvage or selling them?
