Guys pls how save is it to have on 1 PC my main account and one botting account.
Main account is never botted, second acc scarcely, only to gain enough gold for gametime, both accounts never run simultaneously, not the same battle.net, nor contact info.
How safe would u say my main account will be?

Thanks a lot

Bots are detected when they're attached to an account. As long as you don't EVER run Honorbuddy when you're logged into your main account, you should be just fine.

Blizzard found a way to sneak past the tripwire provided by the honorbuddy staff, this has caused a very huge portion of the community here at honorbuddy to have their account suspended. The staff has provided changes to the tripwire and their overall security of the bot as mentioned in this thread: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...ml#post2344538

For the time being i suggest you stop using the bot for automated processes without your absence, people are getting banned just for using Combat Bot and Raid Bot at the moment. The latest honorbuddy release with supposed fixes have not been public for long enough for anyone to feel safe. Use the bot with caution, the chance of being caught is a bigger now than ever.

Edit:
HonorBuddy have probably always been detected by Blizzard, but Blizzard is a business like any other business, money is their first priority. Whether this money is paid by Botters or by legit users Blizzard don't care about (even though they claim it), however, when a big portion of the players are using third-party programs the legitimate players begins to leave the game and unsubscribe leading to a reduction in salary.

Now the big issue for Blizzard at the moment is that they have introduced WoW tokens, an ingame token that can be used to claim a one month subscription, it can be bought and sold on the auction house for gold. So basically botters, if set right, can farm enough gold to freely add a monthly subscription each month, thus causing Blizzard to lose money. So a few botters increases Blizzard's salary, but as the botting community expands, the money chart starts to drop and a ban wave is initialized.

While Blizzard claim that they do their absolute best to keep up with the botting community, i doubt it is more than just a scheme, to keep legitimate players playing. Blizzard is not stupid and they have very likely always had the upper hand. There's a reason our accounts are rather suspended than permanently banned.

So basically to answer your question it is impossible to tell how safe it is to bot. But the times are harsh at the moment and the likelihood of your account being suspended within a short period of time is greater now than ever.

This is the general consensus and my conclusion. However, to clarify, many people also state that it is safe to run HB on another instance of WoW while you are still playing your main, on the same computer. You do not have to run your bots on a different computer than your main.

The main can always be banned for exploitation of economy, although it does not seem likely.

That theory of blizzard losing money because of tokens is such a load... where does the token come from, thin air? Someone paid for it, and even paid for it more than the regular subscription fee. If anything, blizzard makes more money when a token is used.

Sorry about the derailment, but we don't need false statements being propagated.

Blizzard saying: ''We care about the game and community'', is the biggest load of crap ever. I would rather believe in existence of werewolves and vampires, than this.
There was a time when blizzard cared, during wc2 and wc3, and its expansion. They are a shit company, raking in that last bit of money.
Imagine the dough they get now, after tens of thousands of botters wanting to buy new accounts. Not just accounts, legion expansion as well.
And their economy bans are hilarious. What do you even do when you legitimately sit on 10m for example and have everything? I guess you just let it sit, right? :D

Almost 100% certainty you will be banned.

This is only when a token is used by a legitimate player, botters gathering gold to buy tokens reduces Blizzards income, even though the overall income since the introduction of tokens has increased, that's just logic.

Yeah I haven't seen a single legitimate ban report that a main got banned for being associated with botting accounts. Maybe if you make no effort to smuggle the gold and just mail your main millions of gold over and over then you can get caught. However, you can't get banned for using third party software on an account that you did not use third party software. It would be an economy exploitation ban if anything.

I think its because they have a thanksgiving/black friday sale coming soon so they just wanna make sure they get the most $$ out of it by banning us.
