Safest way to make gold?

Doesn't necessarily have to be the fastest, but I'm not sure what to farm. I'm looking for an area, profile, etc. that are low-profile and not farmed by hordes of people.

Quick answer do some research as what ever answers people give you here won't hold true for your server.
Different servers have hugely varying economies and what might good for others might possibly be the worst for you.

End of the day people can tell you what can works for them but you alone need to look at the AH and demand in /2 and then look at the different areas and see what is being farmed a lot.

Archaeology. Easy gold, especially when you start auctioning the tol'vir stuff.

Pretty much I mean if its strictly safe ways then you can look at questing/arch as that is the same for all servers for the most part.

I'll try those two methods. I almost have an 85 and going to see how much I make from all the dailies plus leveling archaeology.

But i go with Archaeology atm, because it is safer and easier for me.

Mining is very effective, but probably is not much of a safe thing. You can bot fel iron, thorium, mithril, cobalt, adamantite, and saronite. Not much people farm those, so you would not be reported as you would not annoy people, yet you would still supply a high demand of those things. Smelt half of it into bars, you make a nice gold.
