Hey everyone, i just had a thought.

Since WoW logs everyones IP when the log in, then when you login to xfer the gold to your buyer, why dont you temporarily change your IP, so when/if you get banned, you could say it wasn't you. Then after the xfer, change it back to original IP, the one you had before.

Like since i can connect my iPhone to my computer, and it says im in another state, why cant i do that, then say I got hacked by someone once they ban me?

Or am I just wasting my time?

Well before i do anything I would like some professional help :)

Remember the Trinity's advice to Neo before he meet Morpheus: "Be honest, Neo. He knows more than you can imagine". I would tell you the same thing.

Blizzard know a lot about you: your IP, your physical MAC address, the OS of your computer, your HD serial number,etc... So the only way you can fool them into thinking that it's a hack, is offering the gold company to log into ur account. That way they usually got banned, and my account got 72-hours only, not permanent. The problem is that, next time they will not always accept your offer.

If you just change your IP, Blizzard will know that you're trying to fool them, the consequence is usually worse. Because how heavy the Blizzard ban-hammer is, usually depends on how lazy they are, not how much they know. If you think they're fools, they will get angry, and it's no good. Whenever I try to contest for one of their bans, they will usually ban the rest of my accounts, just to let me know that they know what i am doing. Damn those bastards and their Warden spyware !

I got banned the other day, and I had used a paid VPN on my bot.
When I called to reverse my ban, the admin noticed I was botting in Zurich, while I resided in UK.
This helped reverse my ban immediately.

It helps.

So your saying i should use a different IP everytime i bot?

Because when I plug my phone into my PC, it shows me in Kentucky, which im on the West Coast, very far away.
