Safe to transfer accounts?

Hey everybody, just a quick question if anybody can answer my question.
If I have a main account, level a character to 80, and transfer him to another battle.net account, and that character gets banned for exploitative activity (AH Flooding or Selling Gold), would they ban my main account? Even if I don't bot on it anymore?

No one can answer for 100%, but probably it will be safe...
Some people even say if you bot on one account only with one character (out of several) and then got banned for 72 hours, and then transfer second character(which was not botting) and if something happen with 2nd character on new account he will still get 72 (not perma).
But however now it changes - more and more perma come without 72... so not sure anymore.
in short words - they say that botting is concerned only with botted character if you got 72... so other characters are clean if transfered...
