Did the Buddy team make this bot at one time? If so any chance of bringing it back? Rift is so much like WoW seems like it would be a easy swap. Any info is appreciated.

Yes, they made this bot in the past. Trion is hardcore about catching botters, and after the 5th or so banwave, the HB team called it quits as they couldn't figure out how the bot was being caught.

There's about a 0% chance you'll see another rift bot from the HB team.
