Running the bot for ?? hours

I've read the suggested time for running this Bot is 12 hours. Also that Blizzard doesn't look at X-time the player is online.

Is it really that bad to run this bot 16-18 hours when you're monitoring it for every once in a while.


On an old account I botted for about 6 months, off and on. I made a new account just for botting and I'm running it 16-18 hours a day which i'm not really worried about a bann/suspension on this one.
 
Anything more than 2 hrs but less than 6 is good for Mon, Tues, Wed. On Thursday's you can bump it up 2.5x for 15 hours, + or - 90 mins. Then Fri - Sunday anymore more than 3 hours is futile!

These are proven track records. Bot in FEAR!
 
Depends on what your trying to achieve.
I personally bot 24/7 on 8 accounts, Sometimes get a ban here and there but never all at same time even though they are all on same comp and most doing same thing I'm amazed some have lasted for so long.
Only time got hit all at once was in December which has been dealt with by the HB team.
If you bot for 16 to 18 hours a day you should be fine, like I said depends what your trying to achieve and also where your botting at due to a lot of player reports may get you investigated quicker.
Then again who knows what could happen what works for someone may not work for anybody else.
 
Running it often seems fine for me.

Something key to not getting banned imo is always use the group finder and hop on another server, if the guys that farm legit on your server see you botting they are going to get upset and report most likely. If you're on a different server every so often most people won't remember you.
 
well I just ran 10 bots for 120 hours straight to try and get the Timewalking dragon (I did not :()

I have 1 wod bot running 24/7 killing nonstop.

Makes decent gold, about 30k a day. I just use it to supplement my main account for raiding and buying time. I'm not spending as much of it as I should though :(

My last bot doing this lasted 6 weeks. This bot has to buy more time in a couple days.
 
I run my bots with Aaash's hbrelog, roughly 10-12 hours a day in intervals of around 2hours botting, with an hour-hour'n a half idles between them, they've been up and running for over 2 months now, still no ban so far

I do use my own custom profiles for gathering, so this might be a reason why I still haven't been caught.
