Running other programs Full screen

To date, the bot has no problem running anything in a windowed mode; unfortunately, running my emulators in window while the bot is doing its thing causes the emulator to get choppy. If I fullscreen the application the bot ceases all activity. My question is, Is there a way around this or is it one of those fundamental things that can't be "fixed"

It's one of those fundamental things....

The bot needs the WoW screen to actively build the content on screen. If you run anything else full-screen, the WoW screen will not build anymore.
That's also the reason why your emulator is choppy in window and fast fullscreen. When you run your emulator fullscreen, the graphics card does not build up the WoW screen anymore, freeing up time for your emulator.

Sorry mate, can never happen. Your only solution: Get a faster PC.

I run the following games in fullscreen while botting WoW in windowed mode:

CS:S
L4D
L4D2
{Every other Valve release}
MW3
MW2 Official release
MW2 AlterIW release
Another WoW instance
Trackmania 1 and 2

So pretty much every game I've tried since I got this bot works, I have 2 screens so I can watch the bot on the 2nd one while I play and be sure it really is doing what it's meant to.
All I can really say is, "Y U HAVE SHITTY PC?". I get more FPS in windowed mode than fullscreen, same settings (resolution/etc).

I'm gaming mw2 and mw3 all the time fullscreen with wow in windowed mode behind.

It's not a shitty PC, I think it's just the way the Rom emulator works. I can run 2 to 3 wow clients just fine. *shrug* cest la vie

2-3 WoW clients.

I can run 6 clients on ultra (1920x1080P) and still play BF3 on ultra at 60FPS.

On low, I could probably triple that. If I'm not playing BF3, I could probably just... run as many as I wanted really.

which emulator do you use?
is it something like dosbos or something like vmware ?

Point is, it's a Snes emulator that will get a little choppy if it's not being run in fullscreen, and I wanted to know if there was a way around it. I run a single display so apparently there isn't.

Man autocoding, you're cooler than the other side of the pillow. If only I cared enough to piss money away on a "good" computer or buy 6 wow clients, but I don't.

Thanks to the people who answered my question.

Try setting the WoW graphics to lowest, run in windowed mode and then MANUALLY make the window smaller the old fashioned way (little arrow on the corner :) ). This is of course assuming you don't care about seeing a whole lot of anything anyways (you can still see what your character is doing, text is iffy without scaling it up)

theres ways to run games like Left4Dead and Team Fortress2 in Boarderless window mode. that will allow you to bot and play at the same time, you just need to do some googling.

Could be a bit of a gravedig but I've noticed that it has something to do with Direct X. I can't play Heroes of Newerth and bot at the same time if HoN is using Direct X. But if I play HoN using Direct X I can bot at the same time.
