I've tried 2 fresh installs and used 2 different Onyxegg profiles.
What happens is that the bot works just fine when I start in the air then when it finds an egg it picks it up and just sits there doing nothing. If I mount manually and put the bot in the air it will keep going again and work well again until of course it finds another egg.and gets stuck again.

EDIT: Switched to holy spec and it mounted on its own to start. Waiting for it to find an egg to confirm if it is fixed or not.
EDIT 2: After a suspenseful delay it mounted after finding an egg! Looks like it was a CC issue with Disc.
So for the people googling, try a different spec if you character does not mount after finding an egg or a node.
