Greetings,
First off I'd like to say I'm very pleased with the product and support that Buddywing gets even though it had almost been scrapped on more than one occasion.
That said, this is a issue that has nothing to do with the MAIN functionality of Buddywing and is just an issue I have doing multiboxing.
I have found some fixes that I can perform to jury-rig a working session but around about 2 hours it starts to get a little buggy and things start to break.
Running a single instance itself is runs perfectly. No issues other than the regular "something I did wrong to botch this up" things.
I started building a team of Imperials to start my own operations group. So far I can get about 5-6 SWTOR's running without lag but hit my limit at 7-8. That being said I use buddywing (two different buddywings with their own folders, routines, plugins etc) each with 3 instances per with individual keys.
The issue shows up after attaching the first 3 buddywings to the first 3 instances. Attaching is fine until one breaks then I have to reset the entire multibox to reattach. which is slightly more time consuming but understandable as I am allocating a lot of resources to the instances and their respective BW. As such I set all BW's to utilize as little data than they need plus a little extra, taking very spars logs throughout the session.
As soon as I start up the second BW to attach to the 4th SWTOR instance. It automatically defaults to the first instance, and this causes issues and breaks the set.
This isn't a big problem since I spend most of the time just leveling the other units since this is my first multibox group, and have not begun doing operations with this.
Is there anything that can be addressed on the attachment issues or can someone point me to the right place to do some reading of my own.
Im still trying to correctly apply a control system to allow the three alts to move with the primary. (would like to figure this out since having a main flanked by 3-5 other characters who mirror movements and such would be very entertaining)
I would be very grateful if anyone knows the solution to this and is willing to share it.
