running multiple d3...

Hey guys ,

how you running multiple d3 accounts ?

with or without vw ware ?

I don't know if you guys found out but you can just kill Agent.exe*32 after you started 1 account up and then rinse and repeat !
Edit: Each d3 need its own folder + the " -launch " in the end !

a little search would show there are several threads already. but ill explain for you. you make multiple copies of your d3 folder. so if you want 3 bots you make 3 copies of the folder. So diablo 3 , Diablo 3 (copy), Diablo3(copy 1). Then you make a short cut to the D3.exe not the launcher. then in the property of the short cut in the command line you want to add -launcher to the very end of it.

First You can set Deny permissions on Agent.exe so it wont run
Second instead on wasting HDD space you can keep only one Diablo install and make the new Diablo folders as symbolic links. (mklink.exe in win7)
Third And yes its been already there, so nothing new

Running in VM

i'm not using any Vm's just triple d3 on 1 windows 7 !

Why would i take Vm's is there any particular reason for ?

Personal preference and amount of paranoia.
3 diablo = 1 machine = 1 ip
3 vm = 3 machine = 3 ip if you use you know what

the ip thing is such crap if i for example life with friends in the same house and we all have diablo 3 , we all have the same ip + same router id
the only thing changes is the hardware id from the pc and that cannot be done with vm

but i like that paranoia thing tho ^^
