Running bot/D3 minimized

I'm trying to run my bot in another desktop (microsoft desktops) so that I can run the bot on desktop 2 for example and do everything else from desktop 1, that way it doesn't get in the way and can just do its thing. I also tried just running it minimized on desktop one, the one I'm working off of but in both cases the bot doesn't respond and will not function unless D3 is up and running (not minimized). Is there any way around this or does D3 simply have to be maximized and running for the bot to be working?

just move the Diablo 3 window out of screen.. Almost the same. But minimized wont work

What do you mean out of screen? I only have one monitor. By multiple desktops I mean 4 desktops on the same monitor that can be accessed by pressing ctrl-1, ctrl-2, ctrl-3, ctrl-4.

....the diablo window is in windowed mode, you can push it off screen so you can barely see the edge -_-

Or just open other windows on top of it.
