Just like the title asks. I have an account running well with demonbuddy and wanted to play on my main/real/unbotted account while the other runs. Is this safe for the main account? Haven't been able to find an answer.

Thanks in advance

About as safe as doing it with WoW. So no and yes, It is as safe as you believe it to be.

I've seen my bot accounts get hit with a temp ban while my main account was left untouched.
If they don't catch you botting, they won't ban you. At least on wow... god knows in D3...

alright thanks for the input

To make things more simple..

Would YOU run your SAFE account while another is running a bot in the background?

i always run my main account on same PC with about 3 other bots running, my bots get banned and nothing ever happens to my main, If your main isn't breaking any of the rules they have no reason to ban it?

I have ALWAYS botted ALL my accounts ON my MAIN PC even my Beta Legacy Vanilla Account.

It is about not being stupid with WoW. As previously mentioned it is unknown how they detect in D3. So making threads like this is redundant and pointless and should be asked before you are even thinking of purchasing or using a bot period.
If Blizzard is going to IP ban or something of the sort, guess what you are SOL anyways.
So as I previously posted it is as safe as you BELIEVE it is. Ive been botting since pre-glider also with other games. Never banned or suspended.

It depends if they ban by your mac address, which an automated ban would not do, that would be after a GM investigates you. I have had non botting accounts banned, for "association to exploitive accounts," yes ASSOCIATION. I even opened a vanilla account, and never logged on it, they closed it for association too. It's hit or miss, but if you fight a ban or give them reason to investigate (sell a lot at once) then they might link accounts.

And yes they do link accounts by mac address, had 10 accounts drop at once one computer, then through similar account info they knocked another 5 on a computer next to this one. But I sold about $1K USD in one night so I expected to lose an account or two, but this GM decided to look a little further.

GL I wouldnt chance it, at least use a different computer, and dont transfer gold between the accounts, I wouldnt even friend each other. Even use different contact information.
