Ok guys, so last night I was talking to a friend of me, he's a real botting lord. He told me something like this;

"Blizzard do NOT very often ban accounts who have spended more than 50 USD on it"

Anyone who has any experience in this?

I've played the game for soon 5 years and I have probably spended over 100 Euros on it, since I got the bot (4-5 months ago) I haven't done shit on it by myself.
I bot everything for 16+ hrs / day

Just curious if this might be true

your friend is a botting padawan. I own every vanity pet thats for sale, and every mount. 2 faction transfer and 3 server transfers... TRUST ME you still get banned!

its false. im playing from 2007, ten goats transfered to two different realms -400 eur, some of them faction changed, bought almost every pet - mount that is sold and they gave me a 72 for fourty fish in ah. by the way i had almost 300k g by hand made farming before i used hb.
if they do it again im going to play rift and they can kiss my draenei butt.

He probably means spending on additional stuff in their online store like mounts and pets and other shiny stuff, in addition to WoW's basic cost with all of its xpacks and monthly fees.

You know, the "loyal fan" kind of guy who raids the store every time a Blizzard dev sneezes.

I would agree because I bot like mad and am perfectly fine, and I also buy every single item from their store immediately after they release it.

False, however, if your account is under 3ish months, they'll more than likely wait till the 3 month period is over to ban you. If they ban you too often, you won't re-buy the game.

Had 2 accounts banned, monthly subs the both of them, first one banned in the luaninja ban wave, had all store pets as i was a pet collector, 5 characters transferred from another realm, later on faction changed 3 of those, so theres how ever much in bought things. Perma banned first offense

Thats when i started botting, (probably around my registered here time when i looked for bots) went pirox instead, lasted till archeology ban wave (in between these dates i had almost botted 24/7 in points and never had as much as a warning, had all grindable reps, all rare grindable mounts, logg in screen full of 85s, most pvp bg achieves, conqueror, a nice stack of gold, shit like that when you grind after ban and dont give 2 shits about your account) , in that time i'd moved various characters across realms, rebought store pets and was perma banned again as a first offense.

Money spent means nothing, they've got your cash. They know that if they ban there will be high chance you'll buy new cd keys and rebuy things lost on that new account

lol no they don't give a fuck because they know once you get banned 9 times out of 10 you will buy another account back to cata which is like 60 bucks.
Also if you've been playing for 5 years most likely it has sentimental value to you. So it's extremly risky to be botting for 16 hrs.
Just don't do stupid shit, and hopefully your bot doesnt do stupid shit. Mine is a full blown retard ^.^. Get's stuck on almost everything.
