RU MoP keys with EU Battlenet account

Does it work? Can I use RU MoP keys for EU accounts? And if it doesn't can I use EU SoR accounts to create RU Battlenet Accounts with RU MoP key and play on all EU realms?
just curious because RU MoP keys only cost 10 EUR.
