Rotation-bot ONLY, risk of ban?

I don't care for BG botting, I don't care for gather-botting. The only botting I did in the last year was having it log in every two hours to do my garrison missions, but I loved the rotation bot. I suffered from an accident a long time ago and never fully gained movement back in my fingers, which for other games isn't a big deal, but for WoW trying to do top-end content is difficult and very straining.


All I want to use is the rotation bot aspect. I don't want a kickbot, I don't want to use it for PvP, just purely dungeons and high end raid content. Is anyone else doing this as well and not banned? Or has anyone been banned doing EXCLUSIVELY rotation botting ONLY in PvE?

I know Blizzard is coming down hard on BG bots and kickbots and all that, but honestly I just want assistance in the game

I did it. Exclusively used TuanHA Warrior and Enyo. Still got hit

Yes, many people caught in the banwave a month ago claim to have only been using enyo/CR combo.

Botting is never safe.

give you a hint: if tripwire fails just having HB open is enough for a ban

If it attaches to wow we are at risk..I found that out 2 times in the last 2 bans "Waves" if you wanna call them that. I was exclusively only rotation with manual movement ..no interupts etc etc on the last ban.

I am agree with ryftobuddy react in lot of post. If you get banned, it's because you dont search information, I know the info on HB forum are very deep and not clear, BUT you are not playing with a toy, it's an "hack" tool, when you want to use that kind of stuff you have to be more clever and more interested like just download an app on your phone and let it go. You have to be involved.

To essentially sum up what Maaadcat says, in the eyes of Blizzard you are either botting, or you're not.

There's no middle ground, there's no 'I only used it for 'x' thing', attaching 3rd party software to the client isn't a matter of 'if' it's a matter of 'when'.

I have to agree with mostly everyone here, if not everyone. If whatever you're using attaches to the WoW client and injects in any way, then it's only a matter of time before you get banned. You might miss one wave, or two, or three if you're really lucky. But, sooner or later, you WILL get banned. I was lucky enough to miss the May 2015 ban wave, but I got caught in the December 2015 ban wave and was suspended for six months and my account was stripped of ALL gold. I don't know what else, but the email said all items and currencies. They don't care if you only botted for 30 minutes on one toon and made zero gold, they'll strip your entire account of ALL GOLD.
