Hey guys,

due to our lawsuit i need to know what your experience with the RMAH is:

How long does it take until you get your money dor a sold item into your account ?

Did you ever sell an item and never received the money for it ?

When you get banned, does your bnet balance stay the same ?

Have you been CB'd for any item that you sold, and then you lost the money for it, and the item ?

1. This seems to vary depending on item price. Usually 10-15 euro items takes ~20 hours to process, two days ago i sold 100 euro items which took like 2 days to process...

2. All the rmah transaction tabs are complete, so i got none of the rmah payments still pending. Did i receieved all the rmah completed transactions to my paypal, i cant say for sure coz i got 6 rmah accounts and never bothered to compare rmah to paypal transactions... But yeah, i dont have any stuck "processing" payments on any of the rmah accounts.

3. Never had any money transfered to bnet balance, all went to paypal. Also, after a rmah account ban i continued to receieve money from sold items that were processing at the time of the ban.

4. Yes and no, 3 months ago i sold ik head for like 150 euros, after which i got my account suspended. After giving blizzard a call they informed me that the guy who bought my item issued a chargeback and although the item was initially sold and the transaction was in processing ( i havent recieved the money yet) after my account got unlocked again i had my ik helm in the complete tab and didnt received the money due to the other guy doing a chargeback.

Also, if it isnt against the case best interest, can we know a little bit more about this situation and why are we being asked this ?

On 4th of July Blizzard and we will meet on the court of Cologne ( Landgericht K?ln ), we are suing them for the RMAH and that they do not have a banking or e-money licence to do this deals, as needed in Germany.

That is why i want to understand, how they handle the transactions, how they proceed the transaction, and not what they say in their RMAH EULA/TOS, since that is the more important information.

Thats why i ask that questions, to see if they do it like they say they do it, not as a bank, or if they do it as a bank, e-money issuer.

How long does it take until you get your money dor a sold item into your account ?: It depends on price. 24 hours in most items, though some items take slightly longer.

Did you ever sell an item and never received the money for it ?: Sold 2 items on 31/1. They weren't paid, and it took them over 3 months to pay them. Contacted pp and blizzard about 9 times for this issue, it was finally solved and items payed for on march, about 3 months later. I wasn't a lonely case, it happened to a lot of people, there is a thread here with additional info. Everybody contacted pp and they told us we need the transaction ID to see what was going on, and after asking several times Blizzard for it customer service said they didn't have that info.

No info on the other 2 questions.

Good luck on the court! You really should make good friends with Blizz lawyers, since you see them so often!!

Also, don't go very hard on them bossland, after all we still need em in the long run :P

How long does it take until you get your money dor a sold item into your account ?
-> Successful transactions = 24 hours,
-> Delayed transactions = At least 1 week or until enough players complained in the official forums. Blizzard CMs usually blames Paypal for the delay
-> Permanent Processing transactions = You will almost never get back the $/gold/item even if you ticket the web support.

Did you ever sell an item and never received the money for it ?
-> For items, I can't remember.
-> For gold and gems, there have been numerous occasions that the gold/gems were sold, but ended up as permanent-processing status, so no $ was received from it
-> You can replicate the above bug by constantly cancelling/reposting gold/gem stacks in the RMAH before it ends (such that part of the stack get sold before cancelling and reposting it at a new price, this messes up the auction processing and will almost guarantee you to have a permanent-processing status)
-> Ticketing web support will lead to them saying contradicting stuff like "please continue waiting for the auction to finish processing", "we don't handle such requests", "our logs showed that item was never sold", "our logs showed no problem" and etc.
-> Auction emails are sporadic and might contain incorrect/insufficient info (Auction email stated I sold 20g but the entire stack was actually returned to me)
-> Note: Blizzard offers users no way to reconcile partially sold stacks of gold/gems (You have to take screenshots, note down the date/time/amount posted and reconcile with the completed/ended auction stack, even then Blizzard doesn't accept this "form of evidence")

When you get banned, does your bnet balance stay the same ?
-> No experience in playing with Bnet Balance aka Blizzard Bucks
-> You are forced to buy their Authenticator to raise the credit limit to $250

Have you been CB'd for any item that you sold, and then you lost the money for it, and the item ?
-> There is no way to know that a chargeback has occurred. (You can only guess when you don't get the $ back)
-> Blizzard's ($1 + 15% for item sales) and (15% + 15% for gold/gem sales) is rather shady at best.
-> Why is the 2nd 15% charged at 15% instead of the 2.99% + $0.30(?) that PayPal charges on business transactions?
-> Is the 2nd 15% used to counteract credit chargebacks cases? If yes, then why do players not get back the $ and item for 100% of the time when the RMAH auction goes into error-mode (perma-processing)?

Why are Blizzard employees allowed to play the game/GAH/RMAH when real $ is involved?
-> Wouldn't there be insider trading?

Is Blizzard flouting any legal/accounting practices with the digital RMAH?
-> RMAH transaction logs (actual hidden vs seen) are not openly declared to the public
-> Can the server RMAH transaction logs actually reconcile with the actual PayPal ones? (Note that there are still the Blizzard balance ones)
-> Is Blizzard another Enron?

The $250 Transaction Limit
-> What laws are Blizzard attempting to bypass/circumvent?

P.S. Forgot to mention that because they used to change the game a lot in almost every patch . some items bought with real money become worthless in the next patch . wonder if there is a LAW against that ? Recently they added a warning "item properties or smth might change due to game balancing" which basically means we can make items worthless whenever we want and don't give a fuck that you paid 250$ for an item which now is worthless to use

Usually get the money within 24 hours. There were a few items from a few months ago that took a couple weeks (everyone was having problems at the time), but ultimately all my money was received.

Did you ever sell an item and never received the money for it ?
Like I said above, there were a few times were it took a couple weeks but other than that, I have always received the money.

When you get banned, does your bnet balance stay the same ?
Yes - I put $30 on my account one time myself, then RMAH'd some cheap stuff early, ended up with like $38.53 or something. A few weeks later my D3 account was banned (I was an idiot and botted on my main doing Sarkoth AGB runs). B-net balance remained the same. Applied a new D3 key to the account and the balance was still there and I could use it to buy RMAH items.

Have you been CB'd for any item that you sold, and then you lost the money for it, and the item ?
Nope

My responses in bold... good luck on the lawsuit Bossland and Buddyteam.

Ive got some interesting CSR chats on my account with a RMAH issue if you were interested..

things like "I reviewed the Auctions, and the Items did not sell, which is why its been in this state this long. If there are any other issues we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to contact us, we are just an email away and here to help :)
"
"Thank you for contacting Blizzard Entertainment. I delved a little deeper into this issue. We are showing that the funds have been sent already. If you did not get them, then you need to contact Paypal as this might be an issue on their end. I am showing that we have sent the money for all 5 of these auctions. "

"It's simply a known issue/display error that you still see them as processing. You're just seeing the known display error with that, but they have gone through as the last representative said."

"I did another assessment of the auction house transactions and it appears as though they are in manual review.

What does this mean?

If an auction is under Manual Review (for up to 5 days), the issue is simply a display issue."

All for the same ticket..
They say it doesnt exist, that its already been paid, in review, etc.. everything but "sorry, sending the money now"

Just got this response now:
"Greetings Adventurer!

Thank you for your exceptional patience in waiting to be contacted as we are busy around here!

I have reviewed your petition and it would appear that these transactions are have not been completed and due to the nature of the account being Banned, we will be unable to assist further for refund of gold or payment of cash to your Paypal account as all transactions for a Banned account are non-refundable. I am sorry for any inconvenience this poses for you in the future. There will be no further assistance on this issue at this time.

If there is anything else we can assist you with, please feel free to contact us.
