Well people might already know, but the Buddy team released a amazing bot for Rift but it has had a massive banwave in progress at this time, i have been hit but yet to recieve the confirmation email from Trion, Myself i think Trion is working alot like Blizzard in how they bann Botter's, The last time i botted was the end of last week and it seem's the bot was detected a week back but Trion was holding back to hit as many people at once which blizzard are known for.

At the moment the dev's dont know how they were detected which makes me think is there really a tripwire and why didnt it kill the auth server when there code got detected?? also why did they have a tripwire to protect us if Trion never had any detection?? (well it seem's they have protection against botter's as of now)

All in all i think it's going to hit the buddy team's Rift project preaty hard in the cash flow area since the bot has only been out for a few week's and already been detected which will put alot of customer's off with buying it, We all know Botting is against the TOC and we can get banned for it and i wish to thank the team for a amazing bot while my account lasted but i was'nt going to extend my sub since i got bored of the game preaty fast so no hard feeling's on my end :p

I just cant get over how Kynox, Nesox, Apoc, Hawker and MaIn got out-smarted by Trion, i think the old Blizzard's warden guy is coming back for revenge guy's :p

Trion banning so early when there user-base is just starting to get bigger is not a amazing move since there is no real money making from botting on the game and there sub's are going to drop since i cant imagine all the botter's will re-buy the game since there game is still new and it's really easy to get bored quickly, myself i bought the game to test and when i got bored (i got bored at level 14) i tryed the new buddy bot to test and was really happy.

I now hope the dev's dont completly focus on finding the reason why they got banned and forget to update HB from now on.......

What do you think in the matter guy's? no trolling or Flaming pls.

P.S, will the dev/Mod stop pissing about with my Sigg Font!! :-)

Seem's he has created a new account and is spamming again, hmm cool, i have had a burn-out from wow so ill probaly be testing your profile's in the future when HB is more stable mate, keep up the good work!!

The latest release is actually fairly stable, at least for me.

And also, it is possible that there is server sided protection, just as blizzard has for some things, that the devs could not pick up on. I do not have Rift, nor the bot, so I can't say for sure however.

EDIT: also, you should change the text. Red is a little hard to read on white... or at least not pleasing to the eye.
 
Rift bot promised a lot, and I'm actually disappointed with it, Plat doesn't sell as good as people said, game economy sucks, nobody buys things at AH, so you don't sell things aswell, and if people don't spend plat, they don't buy it either, tbh, I think there were other games that would be more profitable with a bot than rift.
 
hmm lucky me, i reactived my rift account to try it out but lacked time this week to set up the bot lol, hopefully they fix the detection and i can someday try it out.

I lolled,

Farmed over 1mil + in wow,

countless of characters levelled.

only 2 temp suspensions in wow.

I bot 1day in Rift and get nailed.

Shit happends, will continue when bot goes back online.
 
Well, it's probably because Rift sucks as a game in whole. I gave it a shot and couldn't force myself to even renew after the initial 30 days.
 
Just saw a commercial for a free trial for rift :P Gonna give it a shot once I find myself bored enough, glad I waited and didn't pay for yet another mmo that I eventually wish I'd never bought ;) Guess I've learned from previous experiences, thank god.
 
Rift really isn't what it's all cr*acked up to be. The talent tree's are just horrifying and class / spec wise makes no sense to me. I played maybe 5 days after buying the collectors edition and decided that this game was a waste of time / money. But what games aren't? Hell, I've spent so much money on WoW it would cover my 800$ rent for 4 months (give or take). Why have I spent so much? Addiction.

I would assume they made a anti-detection for the Rift bot. But I mean you really NEVER know what is going to happen until it happens so this might of been a trial run that didn't work out so great, but now they know (hopefully) how to overcome these set of obstacles that are placed so abruptly in their path.

Edit: You can't say ***** (cr*ack)? Haha
 
I beg to differ to people saying Rift is not as good as people make it out to bed. Fact is if you ask any decent gamer who has been doing this for a long time they will tell you that Rift is a better game then WoW. But.... people are not willing to go start over again. So Rift wont end up being any were near as big as WoW. The only way a game could over take WoW, is if they go into a different direction with MMO's. The normal fantasy MMO just wont cut it anymore. WoW is and most likely will be the biggest MMO for a very long time. It may not be the best, but will big the biggest for probs 5+ more years at minimum!
 
Rift has amazing graphics. The quests are meh, the content is meh, the invasions and rift portals kind of suck. The terrain is a huge pita and too much agro on 'hill type' terrains

So basically... like wow in vanilla (except w/ rifts / invasions) but with better graphics.

I'm still wishywashy on the 'game itself' vs wow - but i do like that:

You can get a mount at level 7'ish
8 'Souls' (character trees)
up to 5 specs (I had 4 at level 40)
1 tank, 1 heals, 2 dps, and 1 'support' class (heals / dps)

The 5 specs is pwnface
I also like that any class can be any spec (well, i don't think the mages had a tank spec - but i know the other 3 classes did)
 
I just got an email that Rift is on sale this weekend for $10..

Buy RIFT today and hit the ground running with the Novitiate’s Phylactery, a trinket that increases all experience gained by 5% until level 20!

That is actually exactly what i was thinking a few days ago, reminded me of leveling my first toons on wow in 06... Until a rift spawned on my face
