How about we all start reporting Niantic to the Better Business Bureau for falsely terminating our accounts?

After all they gave us no fair warning and provided ZERO proof that any of us cheated.

Many people have invested a lot of money into their accounts and now no longer have access to their virtual goods. Not to mention Niantic refuses to respond back to anyone or give any refunds.

Even if this doesn't put a dent in their reputation it sure would be another thorn in their side.
 
I'm sure if they wanted to they could provide the proof of you botting and the fair warning that you desire is called the TOS which you are supposed to read and hit accept for before beginning the game. I'm pretty sure all of us knew the risks of botting before starting. It sucks, yeah, but it's the price you pay for cheating.

I never cheated. Someone must have phished my account :)

Did they? Either way, everyone knew exactly what they were doing and that it would eventually result in a ban. It really is cheating, there's no ifs ands or buts about it.

what do you mean? it was never in the ToS it was in the Trainer Guidelines and stated in the Terms of Usage both of which are enforceable by Niantic and agreed to when you agree to the Terms of Service.
 
And reporting them to the BBB does no good, I looked into that when the crap about the tracking went down oh what 2 weeks ago or so.
They are not a registered BBB business so it really does no good, that's how their skating with the crap their pulling.
 
I got a full refund for money that I spent on my account. I used iOS, not sure what the process is for androids but I just used the report a problem with a purchase option in iTunes and stated that I lost access to my account with pokemon go and tried to contact niantic twice and got no response so I want my money back. Which is the truth, I submitted 2 ban appeals and got zero response, my tickets were insta resolved with no response. If you spent money on iOS and want your money back, get your money back.
