I have been wanting to come back to wow for quite some time, i have dabbled in other games Like ESO, EVE online, Tera, hell even a few mobas(i hate mobas) but none of them had the charm of wow

im not a goldfarmer i just used this client to help me make some progress while im away at school work etc

my question is what precautions should i take before taking the plunge again?
any way i can sweep my computer to ensure that my past transgressions wont nip at my heels again?

any suggestions are welcome! thank you for your time

Do you care about your main? Don't bot, if you don't care use it casually.

Are you are going to be using a new account there are a few precautions you can take, although they are only speculation. You may use any of them, or none.

1. Reformat your machine to remove any malicious registry editing your current world of warcraft install may have done.
2. If you skip step one, at the least re-install world of warcraft to evade any potential identification through your previous download.
3. Change your IP address (Guide) - https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...blic-ip-address-mac-address-clone-method.html

Again, these options are only assumed solutions for speculated methodology by Blizzard. None of this has been proven AFAIK.
