[Research] Mysterious Fortune Cards (Flipping Results)

Okay so I got bored of WoW as of late.
I decided I'd put my bots to work, doing a little research.
I began making massive amounts of Mysterious Fortune Card's.
I spent approx 11 hours leveling up Inscription & Milling (GB1) & Creating Inks->Cards.
Not to mention the uncounted hours leveling up herbalism on 2 toons.
I flipped 1001 cards total so far.

Results are:

[B]Gold Spent On Parchment: 418g 87s 50c
Started with:  257g 09s 14c
Ended with:   6406g 59s 14c

Flipped 1001 cards total.
I only counted cards of 1g or higher value (since 50s is basically your investment return)
1  X 5000g (Lucky as hell, about the 95th flip)
2 X 50g
18 X 20g
70 X 5g
161 X 1g[/B]

With some quick Microsoft Calculator Skills I've come to these results:
TOTAL Profits
6149.5 G (-5000g Luck as Shit Draw)
1149 G profit
-418.8750 G (parchment purchases)

730.125
in 1001 cards

Average Gold per Card of when removing 5000g bullshit
0.7293956043956044 gold/card

With the 5000g bullshit draw the total comes to:
5.724400599400599 gold/card

Next update will include AH prices for herbs I used up, and the AH price for the cards.

I'll be continuing this project over time. See if I can get a better % chance of card type.
I kinda just glanced at the screen during the first 101 cards, and saw a shiny... turned out to be the 5000, which I have never seen before, ever.

You might want to add average herb prices even if you sold/bought them very cheap (30g/stack) it's 5g cost to make one card.

You might even want to count in vendor price of herbs which could possibly make it look like a profit xD

So far the looks of it... barely any profit in it at all. Next time I'll record how many herbs I wasted, and AH prices for the cards/herbs.
Without that 5000g lucky-as-hell draw it would have only netted me about 700g, and that's only with parchment prices.
All herbs were bot farmed.

No you can't do any of what you said.

One thing to note with using this method is that while yes there is opportunity cost involved if you herb a hell of a lot then shifting large volumes can prove tricky so this provides one method of "laundering" your time into gold. Also it can be addictive I got repeat buyers who buy them at 10g a card which makes for nice income.

It's not too bad I'm just going to flip the cards myself, people run out of patience after spending a few days trying to shift these cards and once they stop my regulars will come crawling back with some green in their hand.
