[request] Recommend me a game

Looking for a game to play with roomie, something like Metal Slug series, but newer... That can be played PC with joysticks, not in LAN but on one PC. Already played all old MAME games we could think of and tbh got bored of old graphics so looking for something arcade-like for PC, but released in newer date...

Ye figured as much... But since last console i owned was Sega Mega Drive II i got no idea what's new/good or what games there are there at all...
