[Request] RAF PVP Group Queue Plugin

Hi Guys,

Now I see there are a few threads around about this but I can't see why its so hard... There must be a way to code it to join as group instead of join battle. It would make pvp raffing so much easier!!

All the threads I can find just seem to say "no its not supported" but not why? Or even if its possible?

P.S No idea about coding but from a user perspective it would be amazing

It would only be worthwhile if the experience bonus associated with RAF would apply if the 2 characters are not near each other. Short of the addon also forcing the 2 bots to stay together, you run the risk of not getting bonus exp if one bot is far enough away from the other. I'm not sure how the bonus exp in bgs works with regards to range. I'll have to test it out. It would be nice to have a healbot follow a dps bot.
 
Yeah there is no range for BG RAF exp.. Hence why I want the plugin lol

If thats directed at me I've been manually queueing and running AV all night and getting RAF xp when one is at north and one is at south and thats the longest bg i know so I can confirm there is no RAF range for BGs
 
After further investigation the easiest way to do this would be have 1 account set up (leader) and one account set up in pvp mode (RAF). Set both bots to PVP and instead of having the leader queue for single bg have it join as group (this is where HB would need to be changed or a plugin added) and the second account untick all the bg boxes in the pvp bot settings (i'm also aware that this would need to be fixed as the pvp bot defaults to wsg if nothing is ticked).

This would allow you to queue with two accounts that will function independently yet still earn RAF exp. If a dev or mod could shed some light on how difficult this would be as I can only imagine it would be a slight modification of the code rather than a massive undertaking (again I'm computer illiterate so I could be way off)
 
Did anything come of this, as I could really use it at the moment.
 
Bumping again. This would be a really useful addition to HB. I know you guys have a lot on your plate atm but hopefully someone with the appropriate ability can help us.

I wouldn't use the bonus xp but having my 371 resto druid Q with my other account toon that i'd like to gear would be nice. Right now I just get both accounts set up and hit start on both HB's at the same time. This usually keeps them in the same BG's for a while.

Sorry Codename, a few people had bumped so I figured other people had an interest in it

Rip, I have been doing the same thing but it would be better if you didnt need to hope they would stay together!
 
Can a dev or someone with knowledge shed some light on this? Seems like everyone wants this but no one is willing to work on it? Is it impossible or really hard?
 
I also really want this option. I also want the option to join arena added.... :P
But as it stand now its not possible because there is no support for it in HB...
And it looks like all the requests are being ignored :P

well, there is support for it using the api, so you can go write your own plugin for it. And no, requests are not being ignored, the request forum is not here to only request core additions, plugin developers go here aswell. as for RAF Pvp Queue plugin requesting, then you can allways go ahead and write it yourself, there is currently much higher priorities, like bug fixes.

I guess I could write it myself.... If I had any idea how lol!
