Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to code a plugin that would attempt to "kite" melee for caster classes (both DPS and Healers).
I will donate $200 USD to anyone willing to complete this task!
Thanks!

this is handled in the combat routine you are using i believe few have it though sadly

I believe bobby53 implemented kiting and disengage behavior in singular.

U could PM him if he could devote a bit more time on it, donate for all his throuble and hope he shares it with other developers.

80% Chance he won't do it , but it's worth a try right ?

Depends what CC you're using. One that already has movement enabled will just fight with the plugin and look like an obvious bot. If you're planning on controlling movement yourself but want to enable the kiting behavior it could work.

Interesting,
I would think this would be a "big win" for the community as a whole. I'll PM Bobby53 right now and see if I can get some traction. Thank you all for your input, as well as your contributions to the community. Offer is still on the table for whoever wants it... be it a plugin or a combat routine as long as it works :-)
Thanks!

I've reached out to a few people who I think might be up to the task. Hopefully we can drive this for the community. Will update.

My older CCs used to do exactly this.

If this were a plugin there could (probably would) be movement control issues between the CC and the plugin, each fighting for control of movement.

The ideal place for this logic would be the CC.
