As the title says, I think a plugin that will notify you when you get a PM in game with a chime would be really helpful in botting safety.

As far as I can tell chat parsing hasn't been fully implemented by the bot yet, so this wouldn't be feasible at the moment. Once that has been implemented though this would be a relatively easy thing to do.

Please forgive me if I am missing something...

Doesn't the game natively allow for this?

The game will sound a message when you get a tell, but you'll only hear it if you're actually in game....meaning you have the game window focused. If you're alt-tabbed and watching a movie or looking something up on the internet....you won't hear the sound. I believe what the OP is asking for is a plugin that will watch your chat log, then when you get a tell, have RebornBuddy play a .wav file. That way it'll play the sound regardless of whether or not you are in game.

I see. I am never watching movies but I am always minimized and I still hear sounds. I am assuming what is wanted is a fully silent game where the user hears only an incoming PM?

You could use something like ACT to compliment RB and create an event that makes a sound or TTS that let's you know if it reads ">>" but that's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head to help with this.

In regards to what was brought up, I think the in-game chime only goes off if the games window is being focused. [EDIT: Wheredidigo answered this a couple posts up, my bad]

There is an option to play sound while game is in Background. I bot while I watch movies, on FB, etc I always here tells. mainly gold sellers though.
System Configuration > Sound Settings > tick Play sounds when window is not active, Make sure sounds are turned to a decent volume. IE BGM all the way down/ up etc.
