[Request] Fire Mage CC

We have shotty frost, n shotty arcane but nothing for fire?!?! with cata comes the awesomsauce of what has been: mage armor. not only it is just as efficient as the other 2 specs, it deals better dmg for aoe grinding and or instancing where catas instances are decently sized packs.

Not much more than saying: frostbolt spam doesnt cut it -.-*

I am also going to accompany this person on their request for a fire mage CC. Though, I disagree with the 'shotty' comments on the frost CCs. I personally don't like playing frost mage. I never really have. Also, if I knew how to code I'd attempt making a fire mage CC myself, but I couldn't code my way out of a paper bag. I can, however, provide information that could be critical to making a fire mage CC.

Here's a link to a fire mage compendium, taken from Elitist Jerks: Cataclysm Fire Mage Compendium - Elitist Jerks and as you can see, this information is Cataclysm friendly.

If anyone could make a working pyromage CC I'd be happy to toss a donation/gift their way as a 'Thank you' for taking valuable time from their day to indulge in my fantasy for Mr. Sparky McHotpants the fire Mage. :D

I was looking for the Fire Mage CC since Cata was released, but nothing :(

Fpsware's mage, even though it says frost spec, does support fire. He told me so directly. I tried it out and it works very well, just like his paladin CC. It even handles the procs. I've been using it and doing rather well. :)
 
first of all, i put a lot of work into amplify, and if you think its "shotty" then your just full of fail. second ive stated on numerous occasions that i will do fire support when i have the proper information or find someone more knowledgeable on the class so i can make sure its done right. now, i keep telling people that if they want it to help me out, but they never do, so tell me why the hell should i make something with no clue how to do it, and no help, then release it only to get the back lash, because the community that wanted it SOOO badly couldn't be bothered to lift a finger and at least point me in the right direction.

CnG, I never said your CC was "shotty." I just agreed that I would accompany the _request_ for a Fire Mage CC. I even disagreed with the whole "shotty" comment because I don't believe any work is shotty. I think yours is really good for frost and arcane, but I _personally_ don't like those two specs. I like fire. I even found a compendium on EJ about Fire mages, but when i asked you about it you told me that "that boat has already sailed" and I returned to asking the developmental community if they could possibly make a fire mage CC. Fpsware spoke up and stated that his Mage CC already supported fire spec and all the procs, and so since there were others asking for fire mage CCs I simply passed on the information that was given to me so that perhaps the whole "fire mage CC" request could be quelled.

I wasn't trying to push any buttons, upset anyone, put anyone's work down, call names, or any of the juvenile things that may be inferred. I was just trying to be helpful to those that wanted this type of CC. I would be glad to give you the EJ Compendium link, and I'll post it here now for you to peruse. I'm not trying to verbally assault you, insult you, or anger you because I do think your work is high quality. And I also agree that you have spent numerous hours into it making it a high quality item. It's just that it simply didn't offer what I was personally looking for.

Ah, my apologies to you CnG. I should take the time and read more carefully. Seems I was reading two posts too closely and gotten them semi mixed up.

ill start on fire development after the new year, i kinda want to finish somethings up before starting on something new.

No rush, mate. Hope you have a good New Years. Amplify works wonders in PvP, for me. I use frost mage for PvP, but fire for PvE. I alternate between yours and fpsware's CCs.
 
Fpsware's mage does not support fire spec. It support only some fire spells :)
I've just tryied it, after reading your post, but I can't say that it works fine.

Thx for all the job that u (CnG and other developers) allways do for the community.
