Id like a farming profile to use at the Isle of Giants to farm de dinosaurs for their bones for the Mount: Bone-White Primal Raptor.
49.webp
Isle of Giants is north of Kun'Lai Summit - Isle of Giants - Zone - World of Warcraft
Mobs that will be farmed - Mobs
Loot - Giant Dinosaur Bone - Item - World of Warcraft
Quest - A Mountain of Giant Dinosaur Bones - Quest - World of Warcraft

Dont know if it requires a lot of work or not?

Best regards

Nice mount but ... i don't think that any combat routine can handle these mobs atm
i tried some of them with a blood dk and have to say ... no way atm
The profile is not that hard

Ok dame :/
Didnt reflect on the mobs difficult level at this time.

duuno bout your "farmtoon"
maybe a hunter with tankpet, decent dps and a bit of pet heal experience (so maybe singular) could handle this, or a warlock with voidlord / voidwalker
but all other classes have the problem that they are standing next to the mob, these are doin some aoe effects which should be avoided (this could be handled by a plugin or a combatroutine that already knows how to avoid this stuff)

So i don't wanna say it is impossible for HB, but my short testing failed at these mobs, will try them by hand later this day

Someone brought this to my attention Monday. I will be working on spell/aoe avoidance plugin commands, a farming profile and such for this shortly after phase 1 Isle of Thunder is up. Very easy to get running, just need to get out there, evaluate safety of plugin based avoidance maneuvers, get the area meshed, and finish up with an Objective Override.

Nice, can work in dps talent? or blood dk only

I can only do so much on coding when fighitng mobs with huge HP pools, its up to you to know your CC's limits. But since the mount is account bound, doesn't truly matter what char you have that does it.

If you wanted to use this to bash the dailies thing with and not just score the mount/pet then its been hotfixed along with other stuff!

Any news?

I just added some spell avoidance to the Direhorns on the island. I have to make sure that the profile is survivable first.
I also just added a Black Prince Rep profile to my SVN in the meantime.

At this time, I don't recommend grinding afk Isle of Giants to anyone who isn't a self healing tank or well geared dps with some sort of tank pet. But that's me.

Do you reckon a 495 fury warrior would be able to do it with second wind?

I loaded up lazyraider and demolished the hatchlings (small elites) with a 471 BM hunter, ferocity spirit beast pet. The cr i used was singular lol. just make sure and only pull one at a time, and kite them over away from the big ones. cause the big ones 2 shot even a tank pet. hope this helps, but I doubt this would be truly afk-able enough to even make a profile. don't quote me

Here's the story so far:

I have a working profile.
The issue now is survivability.
The Devilsaurs can hit for 150k with their aoe move. Which unless ur a ranged kiter, will hit. About every 10 seconds (exact time unknown, but my blood DK couldn't recoup from more than 2). Also, because of oversized hit boxes on the Direhorns, spell avoidance is not fully working, yet. Needs tweaking and lots of testing.
The humanoids are the easiest farm, but low yield (1-2 bones per kill) but have a 25% heal they cast every 20 seconds. Until there's a working CC interrupt that watches for it (I'm bad with CC's) then it will get thru. Once the humans hit 50% as long as they aren't stunned they turn Dino and stop healing. Very easy to farm. Blood DK took on 4 at a time and never dropped below 90%. Trouble with them is you have to get to them first (no biggie) and its gonna be mobbed (lower yield).

Other than that, it's getting closer. Meshes in the area are working and it paths well. (Thanks to Kick). Just need to iron out the rest. I'd rather it works first before the QQ fest ;)

The big Direhorns are soloable for tanks (not tank pets as they don't spell avoid) as long as I can get the avoidance to work right. The other issue with them though is the Triple Puncture stacking debuff. 30 seconds is a long wait, and right now the bot doesn't care, and will keep pulling even with it. For now, combatbot and monitoring is best way. For now.

Do you know how much damage per second one takes? My Second Wind heals for about 12k each second.

Off hand not exact without more testing. Essentially the Direhorns and their hatchlings is not much, so long as you avoid the Double Swipe (adults only) and don't let your Triple Pincture stack too high (at15 stacks does about 120-140k on plate). Devilsaurs hit just as hard melee but their power moves hit from 80-160k and are (so far) near unavoidable for melee range. They use these moves in tandem once every 8-15 secs so I would say dps can range from 15k up to 30k with up to 150k burst hits.

so for combat bot, My only problem with that is, she wont move out of the way when i need her to. she gets stuck and sometimes stands in bad and dies xD. any way to fix this other than HBtoggle plugin? that plugin does not like my computer and has never worked well for me.

I have been working on spell avoidance in the Pandaria Dailies v2 plugin, but its not complete. It is available on my SVN to test on your own, but it has been intermittent for me.
