[REQUEST] Ban people who abuse the staff and others........

Thats right. Earlier today some guy was dealt with by Kick(thanks) because he was being demanding and more importantly RUDE.

So my request is to add in the Terms of Service is:

Anyone who abuses the staff and or others will be BANNED and they will forfeit their money.

I know its kinda harsh for some but this is perfectly reasonable. There are ways to ask for help and name calling and abusing the staff isn't one of them. Thanks.

Yes and no. Some people are just that stubid, that they get angry and frustrated when they can't handle certain things, and that channels into flaming and namecalling.

You can't really do anything about it, except acting on your best behaviour yourself.

It's illegal to just cancel there service and basically take their money. It's a product they purchased. While I agree for them to be banned I don't agree to have their service taken away.

Yea If I pay 15 dollars on July 17th my WoW subscripion expires August 17th but if I use a bot on July 18th and I get perma banned. They essentially did what you just described. Because its in their ToS. it isn't Illegal at all. What im proposing is this method should be used for Honorbuddy. Thats all im proposing.

ToS isn't to stop their service it's to ban them from the forums not take away what they payed for

The Blizzard ToS is to completely stop the use of THEIR servers and THEIR toons. When you get banned from WoW they dont let you play wow and ban you from their servers. When they ban you, you're banned for good from everywhere. Again, what imi proposing is, we do the same. And not to anyone with a complain obviously, just to people that get EXTREMELY out of hand. You probably didn't see it this morning it it was terrible.

No I saw it. It was lolos, I was arguing with him too but I'm not for taking away someones service just because they are annoying. Just ban them from the forum is good enough. A second offense (like what kick said earlier) is a perma ban with the IP address. I think that's the best action. People will always be frustrated with a service and everyone has different personalities and you can't please everyone.

Very true. Im in the middle of my C++ programming class it its a bitch. I cant imagine what actual real developers like the staff here go through. Idk im doing retarded console applications and entry level shit and I get frustrated. Now if I had someone yelling at me for not being PERFECT, i could just smack em.

this isnt about what wow does. if someone is posting mean things, then report the post, and we will deal with the issue.

these issues will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

We will not ban your Honor-buddy Sessions for issues that occur on the forums.

im sorry to the people who want to chime in, but this has to be a staff and business decision, as a company that should not be handled by our user base. I respect all you guys who did post, but that kind of policy change has to happen within the staff.
