[REQ] Pause Button

Sometimes I just want to check that I don't need something Giles stash replacer has detected to throw away, but I don't want to loose my 5 stacks on NV I have collected, the only way now is to stop DB and have to start my profile again and loose my stacks. Is it possible to add a pause button, that kills all DB actions but doesn't cancel them, that way I can check my bags to see what has been found and stash manually what I want and continue on my merry way. Also identifying stuff in the field would be nice to do.

Just want to know if it is possible at all thanks.

Wouldnt mind this as well, often I come and see that I want to check up on what its found real quick, It sucks having to time it because I will see 5 stacks and want to wait till the next game creation rather than click stop then start again, just to see it start from the beginning of the profile. Though I agree with this, I am in no rush to get it. Just would be a neat feature, other things surely need more attention.
 
I'd rather them work on more important thing first like death handling and improving skill routines and attack speed but yes this would be a nice feature.
 
I think they should just make the stop/start and death handling pick up where it left off.

no start stop does what it is suppose to leave that alone. I dont want it resuming when I leave and make a new game. Use your dvd player cd player, if u stop and start it will go from beginning, pause will resume where paused at.
 
Actually my DVD player knows where I stopped and will continue from that point. Its rather annoying.

ya exactly you have to hit stop twice on a dvd player. its called Full stop. Pause freezes the picture stop alows you to do other things in the menus with out losing your spot. when you pause you cant. full stop starts the dvd over from begining.

guess I shoulda just said media player, I havent used a dvd player or cd player in... >.> vlc winamp and my droid. I was just trying to say I like how it handles now, and come time when longer profiles do exist it will be a nice feature for it to be able to temporarily be postponed to manually do things, and resume at the point left off on. On the same token leaving the game I dont want it remebering that point and starting a fresh farm mid way.
