I hear people saying they were reported..

How do you know if you are? Does it say on your screen or something?

The only way you know is if the person whispers you "I reported you" or "Reported" etc etc etc.
You could get reported and they not even whisper you then you wouldn't know till the GM whispered you / you got suspended

You dont know.
As Laso stated above me you'll know when you get an account investigation or whisper from GM ingame.
